Both kids were currently laying on the ground groaning and panting. Well most of the groaning came from Naruto, which wasn't surprising.

While (y/n) was laying on her back trying to catch her breath after their training session. All while ignoring the blond's groans, that were distracting.

Boisterous laughter filled the silence as both kids just groaned out in protest. (Y/n) narrowing her dark eyes at their sensei. But not bothering to make an sudden movements because her limbs were currently aching.

"Now don't glare at your sensei little Uchiha." Jiraiya scolded slightly but mostly taunted, which was shown due to the wide smile on his face.

The young Uchiha girl just looked back up at the sky, scrunching up her face in distaste at the nickname. But once more didn't bother to call him out.

"I can't feel anything." The blond boy groaned, as he situated himself to finds a better position. Now laying on his stomach arms spread out.

"You two look horrible but mostly like starfishes." Jiraiya tried joking, to his two students. Who were not amused.

(Y/n) managed to find enough strength into rolling her dark orbs before closing them. As she finally regained her normal breathing.

"It's getting dark we should head back to the inns." Jiraiya said, as he headed back without waiting for them.

"Let's stay here for a while longer." (Y/n) softly muttered, smiling softly, greatly enjoying the peace.

Naruto let out a small blush as he looked at the Uchiha who was smiling. She hardly ever smiled now so seeing her like this was very pleasing.

"Okay." The blond whispered, as he flopped onto his back once more. Watching the sky change colors as the sunset.

"It's very beautiful." (Y/n) finally said, as she once more opened her eyes. The color of the sky contrasting with her natural dark ones.

"Yeah it is." Naruto responded but his blue eyes were solely focused on the girl. The Uchiha female let out a rather content sigh before turning her gaze on her companion.

(Y/n) arched her eyebrow at the blonde's staring. Naruto flushing red as he turned his head along with his eye gaze. Once noticing that he was caught staring at her.

She just let out a small giggle as she looked back up to the sky. Naruto shyly looked up to the sky before moving closer to her.

(Y/n) noticed the blonde boy discretely trying to move closer to her. But for his sake pretended not to notice it.

The whiskered faced boy felt accomplished when he finally came towards closer to the Uchiha. Choosing to ignore how his body screamed and ached at the movement.

"Why did you move closer?" (Y/n) questioned, turning her head to face the bashful boy. Naruto just flashed her a shy smile before turning his gaze away from her.

"I just wanted to be closer to you." Naruto nonchalantly stated, trying to play it off. But his red tinged cheeks gave it away.

"Really now." (Y/n) amusingly teased, continuing to look at the blushing boy. Naruto couldn't find the words to say anything so he just nodded his head.

"Hnn." The Uchiha grunted knowing that it would greatly bother her friend. Naruto narrowed his blue eyes as he playfully glared at the girl.

Their soft laughter echoing around them as they enjoyed themselves.

"Should we head back now." Naruto asked his companion. As he slowly got up from the ground. Letting out a groan as he stretched.

(Y/n) just nodded her head in agreement as she grabbed the hand that was extended out to her.

Naruto grinned at the hand contact as he pulled up the girl. She just let out a soft groan as her muscles started aching once more.

"Let's go, Jiraiya-sensei is probably waiting for us probably." (Y/n) said but was more likely true to her word as she thought about the many times he left them for woman and his research.

The two just nodded their heads in confirmation as they walked to the inn that they were staying at.

The two kids continued walking in silence but (y/n) faltered when Naruto had stopped walking.

Confusion found itself inside of her as she looked at the blond boy who was staring at the ground.

But before she could say anything, (y/n) was pulled into a sudden embrace. Her face turned pink at the contact but cautiously returned the gesture.

"I like you (y/n)." Naruto's words came out muffled, as his face was buried into her shoulder.

Her dark orbs widen at his confession, face turning a brighter shade of red. Naruto's grip tightened on her as he felt her freeze up from his words.

"It's okay if you don't feel the same as me." Naruto dejectedly mumbled, pulling away from the hug. As he stared disappointingly at the ground.

(Y/n) didn't say anything as she watched the male look at the ground. A genuine smile spreading on her face as she walked towards the boy. Naruto looked up in confusion as he watched the Uchiha girl comes towards him.

He winced slightly as he thought about her rejecting him. But was confused once more at the feeling of her hand under his chin.

"Wha~" Naruto was cut off at the feeling of her lips pressed against his. He froze at the contact before slowly kissing back. Both of them enjoying this moment in time.

"I like you too Naruto." (Y/n) whispered gently, as she pulled away from the boy. Naruto just grinned before grabbing her hand and intertwining them together.

As he dragged her back to the inn. A large smile on his face. "Even if you did kiss my brother first." (Y/n) stated with a small smirk. Laughing at the sounds of the blond's groans of annoyance.
