"I was ready to leave my past behind not caring what would come to me in the future."

"(Y/n), I can't believe you're leaving." A loud voice, rang throughout the village gates. (Y/n) turned her head to face the voice, to smile when she finally saw the running pink headed girl.

"Yeah, it's been awhile since I left the village." (Y/n) casually said, while shrugging her shoulders.

Sakura just frowned as she looked at one of her closest friends. She couldn't help but notice that (y/n) was slowly returning back to her old state.

It made the pink haired girl rather happy knowing that her Uchiha friend would be alright.

"Are you excited to leave?" Sakura questioned, scanning the area around her before solely focusing on (y/n).

(Y/n) just let out a sigh, "honestly I really am that I get to leave my past behind." (Y/n) closely examined Sakura, noticing the flash of pity on the girl's features. Sakura opened her mouth before closing it. Before gathering up the courage to ask (y/n) a question.

"You're leaving because of him aren't you?" She mumbled out, green eyes flickering to the ground beneath her.

(Y/n)'s dark orbs widen for a fraction, wanting to deny that very reason but knew it was true.

"I'm not going to lie but yes that is a reason why but mostly it's because I don't have a reason to be here anymore."

Those words made Sakura frown, looking up to look at the now stoic Uchiha female.

"At first it was to get away from him but then I just stopped thinking of him. Now it's just a chance for me to get away for awhile." (Y/n) mused, watching her friend process her words.

Sakura nodded her head in agreement, completely understanding her friends actions now. (Y/n) felt happy knowing that the other female finally understood her reasons.

"Is Kakashi-sensei coming to say bye to you?" Sakura softly asked, looking around once more for any other people.

(Y/n) just shrugged her shoulders, thinking if her sensei would actually show up. He was rather busy now and days.

"Of course I would come, I have to say bye to little (y/n)." A smooth teasing voice caught both of the females attention.

(Y/n) was not amused by the revolting nickname. Blankly staring at her former sensei, as he continued walking towards her.

"Maa, don't stare at me like that you'll start to look like Sasuke." Kakashi teased, smiling as he heard Sakura giggle. While (y/n) didn't look amused in the slightest bit.

"Ha ha very funny Kakashi-sensei." The Uchiha female monotonously said, shuffling forward to meet him.

Kakashi let out a mock gasp, "Kakashi-sensei, what happened to Kashi-nii."

Greatly enjoying how flustered the usual calm and collected female was getting.

"I was smaller back then." (Y/n) raised her voice, cheeks heating up at slight tease. That was doing its job at making her embarrassed.

Kakashi just let a breathy laugh, pulling his favorite student into a hug. Smiling when he felt her return his hug.

"Please take care of yourself (y/n)." Kakashi whispered worriedly in her ear. No matter how old she would get, he knew he would always worry about her.

"I promise Kashi-nii." (Y/n) softly responded, tightening her grip on his shirt before releasing it. Pulling away from her sensei, averting her gaze from both of the smiling male and female.

Sakura giggle once more at how (y/n) tried to avoid looking at both of them due to her sudden embarrassment.

"Are you ready to leave?" Sasuke asked his sister, walking besides her. (Y/n) just nodded her head, before waving at the two.

Both siblings walked away from their villages gates. (Y/n) letting out a content sigh, feeling as if a giant weight was suddenly lifted off from her.

Sasuke glanced at her from the corner of his eye, a barely noticeable smile on his face at how peaceful his little sister looked.

He was glad that he decided to let her come with him, even if at first he was against the idea of her traveling alongside with him.

"Thank you for letting me come with you Sasuke-nii." (Y/n) quietly said, looking ahead rather than at her brother. She didn't want to feel any more embarrassed than she was earlier.

Sasuke didn't reply back to her, but rather stopped in his tracks. Which confused (y/n) for a second as she too stopped walking.

Before she could question her brother, a poking sensation was on her forehead. She quickly smacked away his hand and glared at her smirking brother.

"I told you to stop doing that." (Y/n) grumbled out, now feeling agitated rather than peaceful like she was a moment ago.

Sasuke just laughed at his pouting sister, as they both continued to walk to their first destination.

"I'm happy that you came little sister." Sasuke quietly said, not sparing a glance at how his sister lit up at the rare compliment.

Both siblings staying quiet, but feeling happy as they continued walking on their journey. As long as they had each other, they wouldn't need anyone else.
