Hinata walked into class trying hard not to make to much noise. The teacher not noticing her continued to teach.
Gosh I can't believe I woke up late again. "Hey..did you wake up late again..?" a sweet voice whispers next to me. When I turn its my close friend Sakura. "Sorry I guess my alarm broke...I should really get that fixed..." I smile. "Yeah we can go together after school." I nod and pull out my journal. The teacher lectures on about math problems that I haven't quite got the hang of. "Now who knows the answer to this question..?" the teacher ask and an arm goes up. One I haven't seen before. I turn and see his spicky yellow hair and his black shirt with khaki pants. I turn to sakura "who is that..?" She looks at me "new kid I guess..." She says it as if she knows something.
"Naruto" the teacher says and Naruto's hand falls. "Its 25" his deep voice echo's across the room. "That's correct" says the teacher. The class continues on and my eyes won't stop looking at Naruto. The bell rings and everyone leaves the class.
I meet up with Sakura at her locker so we can go down to lunch. "So do you know anything about the new guy..?" I ask her a little nervous. She looks at me and smirks "does someone have a little crush on the new guy?" My cheeks start to turn bright red and I look down "n-no...I just want to get to know him." She looks over at me "listen...I think it's nice that you have a crush and all...but I heard that he isn't someone you want to get to know..." I look up at her and the worried look in her face makes me re think. "Sigh" I lift up and see a familiar face walking down the hall.
"I think your boyfriends coming." Sakura turns and smiles brightly. "Hey babe" he walks over and raps his arm around her waist. "Hey baby" they start to kiss in front of me.
I always feel so awkward in these moments. "Hey Sasuke..." he looks over at me and smiles. "Hey Hinata" he looks over and sees something, probably that he doesn't like because he makes a tisk sound and grabs Sakuras hand. I turn my head to see what he's looking at and I see Naruto walking down the hallway. He looks up into my eyes and I feel my heart skip a beat. He makes a disgusted face and looks down at the ground as he continues to walk.
We are at lunch and I'm sitting at the table alone. Sakura and Sasuke come and sit down laughing. "Hey Sasuke what's up with you and Naruto..?" I ask quietly but loud enough for him to hear. Sasuke shakes her head but the question slipped out before I could stop it. He gives me a look I've only seen him make once. I looked down knowing he was angry. "N-nevermind, you don't have to answer..." He slightly grinds his teeth. "Hinata...all I'm going to tell you is to stay as far away from him as possible." I nod and continue to eat my food without saying another word.
After lunch my last class flew by. I met up with Sakura "I have to stay after...meet me at my place around 6, ok?" She nods and leaves. I wave her bye and walk to the classroom.
When I get there the room is quiet. "Hello" he looks up from his desk "hm what do you need Hinata?" the teacher ask. I walk over to his desk "hello Kakashi sensei, I wanted to know if you could help me on the math equation we worked on today..?" He looks over at the door as it slowly creaks open and my heart skips a beat again.
