I look at the boy I fell in love with. The boy that caught my eye about eight months ago. The boy with the messy brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin, perfect jawline, toned body and contagious smile.

"I love you," he tells me which brings a smile to my face.

"I love you too, Josh," I reply, causing him to smile back at me. He can't resist so he leans in towards me and I close my eyes. Before I know it our lips are touching. Within a few seconds he puts his hand on my cheek and the kiss gets deeper, more passionate. But then he pulls back, unexpectedly. Just like he always does.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"Wrong? There's nothing wrong." he replies.

I can tell he's lying but I just leave it. I don't want to cause an argument. Right now is such a precious moment and I don't want to spoilt it.

But I don't have to. The moment already gets spoilt by a familiar witchy face swoop in. Rebecca. Oh how I hate her. She has dyed her hair so many times that I don't even know what to class her hair colour as. Her eyes are green, but not a pretty green. Oh no. A horrible, cold green that makes my blood boil. Her smile isn't even pretty. Neither is her body. But yet she is known to get all the boys in the school. Every girl envious her because she steals everyone's boyfriends. All the boys stare at her, even if they have a girlfriend! Rebecca makes steam come out of my nose.

She puts her arm around Josh's shoulder and gives the same wicked smile she always does. "Hi guys, what's happening?"

Josh jumps a little and looks to his left and smiles when he sees her. "Rebecca!"

Rebecca giggles and puts all her focus on my boyfriend. Back off bitch, he's mine.

"Hi!"

"What are you doing here?" Josh asks her.

"Well I just came up to the library to see Sam but he isn't here for some reason. He usually comes up here but he hasn't been lately for some reason. I feel like he's deliberately avoiding me," Rebecca says with a thoughtful look on her face.

"Knowing Sam he probably is," I chip in. Rebecca glares at me.

"I mean it is Sam, after all. He probably has work to catch up with or friends to chat to."

"Shut up, Anna," Josh orders me with gritted teeth. That was my queue to shut up.

I'd love to say that I don't usually let Josh boss me about like that, but I do. That's the problem. He usually doesn't do it in front of other people. But, of course, Rebecca is different. He knows that she won't stick up for me. Rebecca has a soft spot for him. I honestly don't know what any boy sees in her. I don't know what Sam sees in her. Poor Sam. I feel sorry for him.

Sam and I aren't close but he's in some of my classes. We speak sometimes. It's usually compliments and short conversations. He usually compliments me on what I'm wearing that day or how I styled my hair. He seems a nice guy. Unlike Josh.

"Oh well, I better get going and see where this bitch that I call my boyfriend has got to," Rebecca smirks, looking around the room to see if Sam is here.

"Aww, really?" Josh says. I feel like slapping him but he's much stronger than me and could knock me out with his pinky finger.

"Yeah," Rebecca replies.

"Pity," I sarcastically reply. Rebecca gives me a look. I smirk. Well? Rebecca has never been nice to me so why should I be nice to her? She's nothing but a little backstabbing, self-centred, annoying, snobby, slutty, bitchy little brat that needs to grow up and stop stealing everyone's boyfriends!!!

"Goodbye Josh," Rebecca says before kissing him on the cheek, causing him to blush and smile. "Goodbye."

Rebecca looks at me. "Goodbye Anna."

"Mm," I nod. I was not impressed with her nor Josh. They both have chemistry going on between them.

Rebecca finally leaves. Finally! What a bitch!

"What has gotten into you?" Josh whispers angrily.

"Nothing," I shrug.

"Well there must be something. That's no way to treat a person Anna. There is no exceptions for that!"

What am I supposed to say? Sorry for hurting your girlfriend, Josh.

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry won't do it." Josh kicks my leg under the table so that nobody would see.

"Ow!" I shout. Josh frowns at me and looks around at everyone but no one has their attention on us.

"Shut up you little brat. Don't let anyone know about this conversation or you won't live to see another day, understand?" Josh asks.

I say nothing. I am speechless. All my body will let me do is nod my head in agreement.

"Good," Josh replies. "I'm glad you got my message. Let's see if you can put it in action." He kicks my leg again, but this time the force is ten times more powerful than the last time which means it's ten times more sore. I screw up my face, trying to hold in a scream.

"Good," Josh smirks. He leans in and kisses my forehead. I feel disgusted. I don't even want any of his kisses right now. I'm just not in the mood.

"See you later babe."

Ugh, babe. He sickens me.

"I love you," I say. He doesn't reply and instead walks off without turning back once.

Come back, I miss you.
