-Cheryl's POV-
"Toni."
The name fell from her lips in the most beautiful way, I couldn't help but be in awe.
"I'm sorry, I should get back to my friends. Thanks for the dance," She was nervous, but tried to hide it as she turned around and began descending the stairs. Reggie walked up from the bar going to stop her but I put my hand to his chest.
"Let her go, I'm going to keep an eye on her tonight though," I said with a large smirk on my face. She was my next conquest, I could feel it deep inside me. "Betty!"
The blonde ponytail came bouncing over as soon as she heard her name. "Yes Cheryl?" She asked.
"One of the friends, pale, no lips, head shaped like a broken graham cracker, follow him tonight," I instructed.
"Should I say anything to him?" She asks me.
"Observe first, then make conversation, seduce him, manipulate him, whatever you have to do, and report back to me with anything I need to know about Miss Toni." The girl nodded and walked towards the balcony to watch the boy.
The gala was in full swing now, everyone on the lower level dancing and mingling. Toni and her friends had made their way to the dance floor as well, her girl friend seeming to escape Chuck's clutches.
"She's hot," I heard beside me.
"Archie Andrews, be specific and tread carefully," I said.
"I know who's yours, I'm talking about the dark brunette in black who Chuck is trying to go after," He says, crossing his arms over his chest. "What's your mom going to think about all this?"
"I don't know nor do I care. If she finds out, she'll just bring it to the council and I've been dealing with them for centuries."
The stout boy nodded in agreement.
"I think this is good for you, you haven't been involved with anyone who wasn't a meal in a long time."
"Who's to say she isn't a meal?" I ask slyly.
"Because I see the way you look at her," He leaves the conversation at that before joining Betty at the balcony. I was still sitting in my large chair, which was starting to look more like a plush throne.
-Toni's POV-
I could still feel her eyes on me. I didn't want her to think I was desperate though, so I never looked back up. I instead tried to focus on dancing with V and the boys.
"I'm so glad I finally got rid of Chuck, he's a terrible dancer by the way," Veronica said to us.
I nodded, lost in thought. I usually can remain so composed, but while I was up there with her, it felt like she was staring into my soul, drinking in every part of my body and analyzing it. It was scary, but I loved it.
"T?' Veronica asked, snapping me out of my gaze. "What's up with you?"
"Exchange students got to her, she's been upstairs since you left with Chuck," Sweet Pea said.
"What? Upstairs?" Veronica says in shock.
I roll my eyes in response, "Some girl just asked me to dance."
"Some girl? Wait, which girl?" She asked.
"Stop talking, here comes one now," Sweet Pea warned.
A blonde girl that I had caught a glimpse of upstairs approached then. She smiled at us and walked straight up to Jughead.
"Would you like to dance?" She asked him. Stunned, he nodded slowly and took her hand, being dragged off into the crowd.
