Stoic's P.O.V:
I can't believe it! Me? Stoic The Vast? The Chief of Berk? Gets beaten by a child!? It would be no wonder if the villagers want to dethrone me. I looked into their eyes expecting to see disgust and hatred, but I saw none of those.

I only saw loyalty.

My people are there for me, just like I was always there for them. I guess all those sleepless nights have finally paid off.

Thank you.

Hiccup's P.O.V:
"You might have won this duel, Night Fang, but you didn't win the battle." 'I knew it! He hasn't given up, yet!' I saw the way that the villagers looked at him. They were like waiting for Stoic's word to capture us. It's not going to happen. Not now. Not in a thousand years.

Just as expected the vikings fill the ring with weapons of all kinds ready to capture us at Stoic's command.

Not. Happening.

No one's P.O.V:
"Get him!" All the villagers immediately charged, all determined to kill the traitor while his Night Furry is still in the cage.

"Hiccup!!" Toothless roared out to his best friend desperate to save him, but no one seemed to even notice him. 'That's it!' Thought the Offspring Of Lightning And Death in his head 'I don't care if they're his family! If they even think of hurting my brother then they're dinner for me!' And with one mighty Plasma Blast, the bars of the cage are no more.

Without wasting any more time, Toothless was ride by his rider to protect him from any harm.

"Toothless! What are you doing?! Run before they kill you!" Oh, who was he kidding. They both know that's not going to happen.

"And let you get killed by those Vikings? Out of the question! We're in this together!"

The sound of a gong stopped Hiccup and Toothless, and the entire village, in their tracks. everyone turned around to see Gothi standing in the entrance with a gong in a hand and her staff in the other.

"Gothi! What are you doing here?! It's dangerous!" But she didn't listen to Stoic, in fact she was making her way to young Prince and his Night Furry by the time he finished his statement.

"Gothi, get back! That Dragon is going to eat you alive!" Spite Loud tried to shout some sense into her before it was to late. But, again, she didn't listen.

Our favorite Prince's P.O.V:
Once Gothi reached us, she wrote down something on the dirt with her staff. Good thing I know how to read her gibberish.

But what she wrote made my blood run cold. She wrote: 'It's time to tell them the truth.'

I turned to her with fear and uncertainty and asked "Do you really think it's time?" She only nodded. I look towards Toothless to see that he has a look of understanding and encouragement.

"Time for what exactly?" Asked the chief. Well, no time better than the present, right?

"Time for you to know how do I know that your wife died when your son - Hiccup Hourendes Haddock The III- was 3, that he broke your shield when he was 7, and that he 'died' when he was 15." Whith the emphasis on the died.

"H-How do you know all this? HOW!?" You're right, Gothi. It's time.

"I know..." I brought down my hood. "... Because I was there." Then I pulled down the cloth to reveal my face for the entire village. "I am Hiccup Hourendes Haddock The III."

Silence. Deafening silence. But someone had to cut it. Literally.

I tilted my head to the left and the axe that was aimed at my face hit the wall behind me instead. "Nice Shoot, Astrid." without even looking at her or at the axe, I pulled it out without difficulty and threw it at her feet. "But you'll have to do better than that."

I don't like to talk about myself much, but I have a really good sling. The axe was so deep in the ground that the downside of it was completely buried. But who would believe that the supposedly dead fish bone is right there in front of them and is technically not a fish bone anymore? If it wasn't me we're talking about, I definitely wouldn't believe it.

An incredibly beautiful woman emerged from the crowd wearing a rather familiar spiky skirt. Blond hair braided at her left sid- Wait a minute. Is that Astrid?! Wow. She's more beautiful than I can remember. It took every bit of will power I had not to blush at that very moment.

She came to me and pointed an accusing finger at my face. "You're not Hiccup."

"You're right. I'm his ghost that came back from Valhalla to hunt you're island for eternity." Her face was practically on fire from the sheer amount of anger, but when I looked into her eyes, I saw.... Relief?

"Naw dat's 'iccup's sarcasm, alrigh'." That accent belongs to the one and only...

"Gobber! It's really nice to see you again!" My old mentor was like a dad to me. Even more than Stoic. But no one can take The Alfa's place in my heart, that's for sure.

"Well, it's really nice to see ya again, too." He stretched both his arms open wide. "Now why don' ya come 'ere an' give ya'r ol' mentor a hug?" I ran and dived in his arms without question. I know, I know. Youre going to ask why was friendly with this Viking, and why was he so casual while knowing I'm alive. All will be answered in time.

We both heard a whine and turned around to see Toothless making his baby hatchling eyes.

Gobber laughed. Sometimes I find it similar to a dragon's laugh. It's so deep and vibrant, I honestly thought he might breath fire at any moment.

"Ah, it's goo' ta see ya again, too, Toothless!" He said pating his snout while Toothless' happily making purring noise at the attention.

"Traitor!" All of us turned in time to see an axe is speeding up in Gobber's direction, but none of us had any time to react.

In less that three seconds blood was on the ground. Only...

That it wasn't Gobber's.
