Chapter 22

Chance's heart beat hard in his chest as he and Nate run up the hall toward Tina's office. What the hell was going on? His mind could not get past the fact that Tim was with Tina in her office. Was he having a seizure?

As they near Tina's office, they see Jenika and Sami running to meet them.

"It's Tim's dad!! He got past me!!" Sami tells them.

"Oh, this can't be good." Nate replies.

"So help me, if he hurts Tim, I'll kill him, Nate." Chance says.

"The cops are on the way." Sami says as they reach the door of the office.

"WHAT THE HELL!!" Nate yells.

"TIM!!" Chance shouts.

"OH, MY GOD!!" Jenika screams.

Tim is sitting in the corner of the room with his arms over his head. Trying to protect himself from his dad's punches. Tina was lying nearby unconscious.

"PLEASE STOP!!" Tim cries loudly.

"SHUT THE F*CK UP, YOU B*STARD!!" Regan yells as he swings another fist at his son.

Regan is suddenly knocked off his feet as he is tackled by Nate and Chance.

Sami runs to Tina as Jenika runs to Tim.

"WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU, MOTHERF*CKER!!" Chance says as he punches Regan repeatedly in the face.

"GET OFF ME!!" Regan yells as he continues to fight with the two men.

A couple of police officers come running in with Olena.

They have to pull the two angry employees off the intruder before they can take him into custody.

Tina was beginning to come around as Sami helps her sit up. She had a dark bruise forming on her jaw where Regan had hit her.

"Timmy, honey are you alright?" Jenika asks as she tries to wipe the blood coming from his nose.

"Tina." Tim says as he pulls away from the blonde nurse and crawls over to his friend. "Are .. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Sweetie." Tina says as she brushes Tim's hair out of his face so she could see his injuries. "How bad are you hurt?" She asks when seeing the blood on his face.

Blood was running from Tim's nose and his busted lip. His left eye was black and swollen shut.

"I'm so sorry." Tim says as he hugs her.

"Honey, you have nothing to be sorry for." Tina says as she rubs him on the back. She watches over Tim's shoulder as the policemen read Mr. Foust his rights as they handcuff his hands behind him. 

"Tina? We need to get you to x-ray to make sure nothing is broken." Jenika says as she stoops down to help Tina up.

Tina smiles up at Chance as he gets down on his knees beside them. She pulls away from Tim and pushes him gently toward Chance.

Tim turns his head to see his lover for the first time. Everything had happened so fast that he didn't even realize that Chance was there.

"Chance." Tim says as he grabs him around the neck and begins to cry.

"It's alright, Sweetheart. You're safe now." Chance says as he wraps his arms around him.

"YOU'RE DEAD TO ME, YOU F*CKING FAGGOT!!" Regan yells as the officers pull him toward the door.

"I'VE ALWAYS BEEN DEAD TO YOU!!" Tim screams through his tears. "I DON'T CARE!! YOU HEAR ME!! I DON'T F*CKING CARE!! I HOPE YOU ROT IN JAIL!!"

"Tim!! Baby, calm down!" Chance says as he tightens his grip around his lover.
