"Finally, a day off." I sighed as Kaya drove the car. "I know, long awaited too." she laughed. "Today will be fun." "Just us two girls."
Myself and Kaya were on our way to the mall. It was a rare day for us to be off so we decided to make the most of it and head out for the day, without the boys. Suddenly, Kayas car broke down. She groaned as she got out to check what the damage was. She slammed the bonnet before getting back into the car.
"Something happened to the engine." She explained, grabbing her phone. "That's just great." I laughed. "I know right," She said sarcastically, "I'm going to go down near the beach since that's the closest and call one of the guys." She explained. "Good luck getting them." I said as she closed the door.
After a while of waiting I decided to head over to the beach and sit down instead of being in the car. While walking, a black Range Rover slowed down near me and rolled its window down. The person in the car was asking if everything was alright. I don't pay attention to the person at first since I didn't know who it was but soon stopped because the voice sounded familiar and rather attractive. I turned around to see who it was. It was Darren, a singer who I had worked with a long time ago.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked again. "My friends car broke down. She's trying to contact one of our co stars but I don't think she is succeeding" I explained. "Oh well how can I help you? Someone beautiful as yourself can't be left alone," He asks. "Oh I'm perfectly fine, I have my phone with me. I was just going to head down to the beach where she is. Thanks though."
I start walking away and soon hear Darren following me with his car. "You know if you don't accept now, I will have to walk with you down to the beach," he says. "It's fine, really." I smiled at him. He stops his car right in front of me and gets out. "I told you if you didn't accept I'd have to walk with you," he says with a smirk. I finally give in and accept his gesture while starting to walk.
As we were walking and talking, he started complimenting me. Every compliment made me blush each time.We stop abruptly as he comes in front of me and takes my hands. I see Kaya standing near us but he moves my face to look at his.
"You truly are beautiful and lovely to be with." "Thank you." I smiled, about to say the same about him but he cuts me off with a kiss.
The kiss seemed like it was forever but got interrupted by his phone. He apologizes and takes the call. After he comes back, he gives me a quick kiss before smiling down at me.
"Did you really not know who I am?"He asked, laughing slightly. "Of course I know, who wouldn't? Last time we seen each other was when I was 12, you 18. I still remember though, hard not to, even with the beard." "True. Your friend is waiting so I better leave you to it. Here's my number, call me." He said before rushing off.
"Who was that?" Kaya asked as I walked up to her. "No one, absolutely no one." I said, looking towards him as he drove off.
