Chapter 1

Wednesday, October 3rd

Louis’ POV

Eleanor stepped out of her house looking beautiful as always as she waved goodbye to her mom and hurried to my blue Coop so I could drive her to school.

Eleanor opened the door and took her spot in the passenger seat and quickly leaned in to kiss my lips.

“Good morning, love.” I said as I switched the car in to drive and pulled out onto the vacant street.

“My mum says hi, as always.” Eleanor said, applying lip gloss while looking in the side mirror.

“Did you read the letter that got send home last night?” I asked her curiously.

“Yeah. I snuck a peak at it once mum and dad went to bed. Honestly, I don’t know why administration didn’t just make an announcement, like seriously, are we not supposed to notice 100 new students wandering around looking out of place and lost?” Eleanor said pulling her phone out of her book bag.

I nodded in agreement.

I should explain. Eleanor and I go to Willimpton Prep in London and one of the smaller schools, Carter Prep, in our district had a huge fire over the weekend, causing it to shut down until further notice. This led our headmaster to make the decision to let the now-school-less students of Carter Prep to join us at Willimpton Prep while their school is in repair.

I should also mention that Willimpton has a very strict hierarchy and the social cliques are pretty much set in stone, so this merging of schools is sure to cause a lot of drama.

“We have nothing to worry about though, love.” Eleanor said smiling sweetly at me. “You and I will still run this school, we’re just adding a hundred new people to wish they were us.”

I smiled and brought her hand that I was holding to my lips to kiss it softly.

Eleanor was the most beautiful girl in school and every boy drooled over her and fought each other for the chance to ask her out. She and I started dating four months ago after being thrown together for a huge project.

I, like every other guy with a pulse, had fawned over her since I realized girls existed. I had never thought in a million years that I would be able to call that girl my girlfriend, but yet, here I am.

Eleanor had admitted to me that she initially felt so comfortable around me because she thought I was gay.

I have since proven that very, very, false.

Okay, so we haven’t had sex yet, we’ve only been dating for four months and she wants to take things slow, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t done other things.

Okay, so second base.

But I’m one hell of a kisser.

I have references.

I could kiss you senseless, just you wait.

I pulled up to our school and held out my hand to Eleanor as I helped her out of the car.

I could tell the air was tense as everyone looked around anxiously for the fresh meat. I rolled my eyes as I noticed a few students setting up some pranks for the newbies.

I felt sorry for anyone that fell for the old ‘oh Professor Martin’s class? Yeah that’s in the back building. I’ll take you there.’ The manipulator then proceeds to pull a Mean Girls and take the new student outside and force them to ditch class because they lock them out on the quad.
