The Downside

Lonnie POV.

Mondays.

Oh how I hate Mondays! Who was the idiot that decided to that I shall make this day the most depressing day of the week!

I was now sitting in my second class for the morning which happened to be English. Mrs. Mikel kept talking about the different types if sentences and so forth.

I was listening but I wasn't.

I'm not the only one how does that right?

I sat in the middle of the classroom so I'm close enough to hear and see everything....you know what they,the quiet ones know everything.

"Hey quiet nerd" I roll my eyes. Not again.

"Yo nerdy I'm talking to you.. Don't you hear me calling you nerd?" Just ignore Lonnie.

I run my hand over my face. Every time I'm in this class this guy bothers me, like I don't even talk to anyone in this class.

Josh is his name.

He's a white boy with hazel eyes and dark blonde hair and as almost every other guy at this school he's a jock. Which translates to jackass..not gonna lie the boy is fine but his attitude and his mouth trumps over that.

I felt a finger poking my shoulder....

Mind you, he sits right behind me!

I let out a sigh. I guess I can answer just to shut him up.

"Yes. How can I help you sir?"

He looks at me," Finally didn't you hear me calling you earlier? "

I was ignoring you...couldn't you tell?

"Sorry I was listening to teacher, you know were having a test next week?"

"What! She's giving a test? When did she say that?"

When class started.....

I just shrug my shoulders in response.

"Well way do you say about being study partners? We cou-"

I cut him off my giggling a bit.

I raised my hand to stop him from saying any thing else.

"I ain't friends with Toni anymore so you could cut the crap"

That was another thing about being her friend that I didn't like, I didn't like the attention I was getting just for being in her "group" I wasn't her minion.

Most people only talked to me just because I was friends with Toni and I use the term friends loosely.

Josh stared at me with a bored expression, "Oh well...never mind"

I shake my head at him"Unbelievable..." I muttered.

I turned back around in my seat and listened to the teacher until the bell goes for lunch.
