Khylin POV.

After school.

"I know you hate me right now but I promised him I wouldn't say anything"

Its 3:30 right now and just like the idiot said, he's taking me to my husbands house to get some answers and hopefully I wont have to divorce him.

I looked at Eli from the corner of my eye," Ah don't hate you, you idiot I just really dislike you right now. All of you, well except for Lonnie she's my lil muffin"

I turn in my seat a bit," You really like her don't you?" I say to him changing the subject.

"Is....is it that obvious?"

I don't know bout anybody else but....

"Uh yeah! Your eyes light up like a freaking Christmas tree when she's around"

"Damn.....she's so pretty, her eyes are just the perfect shade of brown....s-she looks so cute when her nose twitches when she's rambling about a book she read or when she gets all happy and wiggles in her seat when she gets a good grade...I really like her Lin but I don't want to scare her"

"Go for it you nincompoop! Don't wait too long or ill do if for you" I smack him upside the head.

"Ow! what the fuck was that for?!"

"For dropping yuh balls now pick'em back up an ask my lil muffin out" I smack him again.

"That was for yelling out mi middle name"

"Whatever man, we are here....do you want me to wait?"

"Nah I got this amma big girl"

I walk out of the car and looked up at the big two story house that was painted in red and white it was beautiful no doubt about it with colorful flowers in the front yard. I remember him telling me that his mom is a psychiatrist and his dad is a lawyer.

Making it to the front steps I turn around to see Eli still sitting in his car I wave him off giving him a thumbs up, he blows his horn driving off.

I look back at the red door and knock a few times, no answer.

I know a few times again, again no answer.

Maybe this was a bad idea

I turn around ready to call back Eli when I heard a voice.

"Hello how may I help you?"

I turn back around for my eyes to be graced with the presence of a woman with brown hair and eyes, a curvy body and an olive skin tone she is beautiful. "Oh dear are you lost honey?" I detect a slight accent.

"Uh no I'm looking for Kyler is he home? My name is Khylin, I'm his girlfriend"

Her eyes light up "Dio mio i cant believe it! I've been waiting to meet you, Ky has told me so much about you! Look at you, you are so beautiful, espléndido "

She gives me a hug then ushers me into the house and straight to the living room.

"Kyler! Get your ass down here now! Kyler! No me hagas llamarte de nuevo" Don't make me call you again

"Si mama, what's up? Wh-Khylin what are you doing here?"

"What aren't you happy to see me" I reply sassily.

"Yeah Kyler...aren't you happy to see your girlfriend?" His mom replies in the same tone as me with her hands on her hips.

Two against one.....the odds are not in your favor

"Uh..y-yeah of course I-I just wasn't expecting you that's all"

"Oh honey relax we are just messing with you" His mom bumps her shoulder with mine as we burst into a fit of giggles" Walking up to Kyler she gives him a kiss on his forehead.

"Anyway I have to get back to work, so ill see you later" As she heads to the door she stops, turning around and looks at me. "We have to have dinner soon darling, let me know when you are free. Bye guys!" Opening and closing the door behind her she leaves.

I look at Kyler.

"Answers, I want answers and I want them now"
