Khylin POV

I sat in the cafeteria with everyone, even Drake well except for Kyler. Since he got suspended for like a week he texted me saying that his mom found out as soon as he was finished talking to the principal an that he had to go home immediately.

So no outside food for me....que the sad face.

"Guys I have a question" Everyone stopped talking and gave me there undivided attention.

I probably should just wait and talk to Kyler but I feel as if I need to know...and I need to know now.

"Lynn...are you okay?" I hear Lonnie's voice.

"Yeah uh.." I pause for a second. I looked at  their faces and each one shows the same expression. Worry.

I wonder how my facial expression is?

"I want an honest answer from you all, no lies, no beating around the bush"

Slowly they shook their heads in agreement.

"How was Kyler before I came here? Was he a violent person? He wasn't like this all the time was he..."

Astonishment, shock, surprise... Whatever word you wanna use was written on their faces.

"Was he!!" I may have said it a little too loud because they jumped a bit in their seat which made students close by look our way.

"Khylin...w-we, it isn't our place to tell you" I snapped my eyes at my cousin who is basically my brother.

"Tell me....now"

They all looked at each other with worried glances with the exception of Lonnie who just looked lost and confused.

I'm with you girl

"Okay lets jus-"

"No! Summyyah.Its not our place to say! Kyler should tell her" Eli looks at me, the look was a solemn one. "Its not our place Khy...please don't ask, just go to him after school"

What the fuck man!

Just tell me what I want to know!

"Just tell me...I-I ca-"

"I SAID NO, DEJA!" Eli shouts.

The cafeteria becomes eerily quiet

Letting out a huff and running his hands through his curly hair, he says, "Wait until school is over, ill even drop you there"

"FINE! Mi nah wah talk to allyuh for de res ah de day!" I get up from my seat, everyone watching our tables interaction.

"Khylin we...."

"No Summyyah! Ah doh want to hear it....until I get wat I want allyuh could lick mi batty crease"

"Eww...um no thank you"

I walk out of the cafeteria without another word.

I'm beyond livid right now.

As I walk through the halls all I could think is....is it really that bad that they couldn't tell me?
