The whole time I'm following Sebb and Dion it's silent. All I'm thinking is the worst. After everything in my life that could have possibly gone wrong, went wrong. After loosing my family, being trapped in an orphanage watching everyone I grew up with leave happily right in front of my eyes the last thing I need is to loose my big sister.
We got into an Uber waiting outside and Dion said to the driver "hospital please"
My heart sunk. In that very moment I felt my entire world crumble around me. Sebb clearly saw my distress and grabbed my hand in support "It's ok kiddo" he said with a weak smile. I smiled back.

We arrived at the hospital and Dion ran in, followed closely by me and Sebb.
"Emily Chambers please" Dion said, panicked. The lady at the desk saw my face in complete shock before saying "Room number 12" her voice was soft and calm "would you like a drink dear?" To which I responded "no thanks, I just want my sister."

Dion led us to the room and ushered me to go in. The blinds were shut I put my hand on the door handle and lightly pushed it down so it opened slowly, the door was quite heavy.  I saw her. Lying on the bed, eyes closed, with about a million different wires hooked up to different machines. She was pretty bruised and had gauze with dried blood dotted up her arms and legs.
I ran over to her "Emily?" I said in the bravest voice I could muster. "I...it's me, April. Please wake up" my eyes welling with tears. Nothing.
Sebb and Dion. Dion came over and put his arm around me, it was comforting.

A doctor walked in "Ah hello all of you, just here to check Emily's vitals don't mind me" she picked up a clip board attached to Emily's bed and walked over to one of the machines. Suddenly her face became very concerned and she hit a red button on the wall. Suddenly three more people rushed in in long, white jackets. The lady with the clipboard spoke up "She's uh... maybe you three should go home" gesturing towards me, Sebb and Dion. "She'll be ok" I wriggled out of Dion's hug "No. I am not leaving here without my sister!" I was suddenly brave, hesitant, but brave-ish.
One of the people in white coats said "You can wait in the waiting room if you'd like?" Then poked his head out into the corridor and spoke to one of the nurses walking past. She came in "come on, I'll show you the way."
We followed her, although I didn't want to leave my sister.

The waiting room was awful; there were kids playing noisily in one corner that had a play house and a bunch of other toys. People gagging, coughing, sneezing. And it smelled of medicine and old people.
We were waiting for about half an hour before the nurse came back asking us to follow her.

She told us Emily had a head on car crash and was lucky to be alive. She was lucky to be alive. The nurse said Emily had done damage to her neck and spine and she had a terrible concussion. The problem the nurse found was that she somehow had bleeding in her brain and had to have emergency surgery. I had never been so scared in my entire life. As we were walking and she was telling us this I went very pale and dizzy. All I remember is the room getting smaller and I must have blacked out.
According to Dion; I fainted but Sebb caught me and the doctors were checking me over when I came back to reality.
Dion decided it would be best if we just went home and tried to forget about today. I agreed, I didn't want to think about this anymore.

We took an Uber back to the apartment and Dion and Sebb said I should stay with them until this was all sorted out. So we went up to my apartment so I could get some things.
I grabbed clothes, my toothbrush, my dog, Emily's rabbit and a few other things. We then returned back to their apartment.

I walked in through the door and was greeted by Latte purring at my feet rubbing up against my legs. "LATTE!!!!" Sebb and Dion shouted picking her up and hugging her tight, her purring became a whole lot louder.

Since it was like eleven and I had school tomorrow Sebb helped me set up the sofa bed and made me a pot noodle since I wasn't really hungry but he said I needed to eat. I eventually fell asleep clutching Emily's bunny, so tight.

Sorry about the delay with the second book just so much has been going on in my life but I've started it now and it will really bother me if I don't finish it 😂😂😂
Thanks for being patient 💖
