I'm Home (Tom Holland)

Might make you cry or tear up.

I was brushing down my clothes as Robert Downey Jr. walked in greeting me with a hug.

"How are you feeling? Are you ready for today," he asked me. My head nodded and I opened my mouth to speak but closed with no words falling out. "It's alright I get it. I mean from the base to an airport, a night in a hotel and now a movie set. It's alright it's a lot." I nodded and smiled trying not to have an tears spill out.

It was true, this was a lot in about 48 hours. Here's the backstory, I work in the military and I have been gone for 3 years away from my boyfriend and my home. Those 3 years were dreadful and the longest I have been away from him so I wanted to see him every minute. The only reason that got me through those years was hearing about the movies that he was in that released and a small picture of him. 3 days ago I learned that I would go home so I called Marvel to let them know this so Tom could take a day off but a day later Robert Downey Jr. called me and explained this great idea to me. Basically in the movie a big explosion happens and a bunch of extras fun from it and I'm gonna be one of the extras and Tom is supposed to be just Peter Parker. So one of the extras (me) is supposed to run into him and he grabs their forearms and looks right into their eyes while saying "Are you alright" then nod and continue with the shot. Since they actually want some clips they have one extra to get the shot then I'm supposed to switch.

"Ready?"

"Ready!" I said taking a deep breath and walking out into the set in a huge clump of extras so Tom wouldn't see my face until the scene.

"Everyone, I want all of you to go right over here, then when on my mark all of you scream and run this way. I want you to fall into Tom's arms. Got it? Go," the director yelled pointing at someone in the sea of extras. I nodded and followed all of them onto the mark. The director made his signal and we all screamed and ran away. The extra fell into his arms and I looked with slight jealousy but quickly stopped realizing that I shouldn't get jealous over that.

We did this a couple more times until finally the director gave me a wink and I knew it was my time to run into Tom's arms. The director made the signal and I screamed and ran right into Tom. He looked into my eyes and the world slowed down as our eyes stared into each other's.

"Y/n," Tom said softly almost like a question.

"Yes," I said smiling letting tears bubble up in my eyes. Tom's eyes were instantly filled with tears and love before he pulled me into a hug. I jumped up and wrapped my legs around him. His breathing wasn't steady and my shoulder was starting to become wet from his tears. Tears were also streaming down my face as I sobbed feeling his embrace in my arms.

After a couple seconds he dropped me down and moved his lips to meet mine. His taste was so amazing I almost melted right there. When the kiss was done we put our heads together and caught our breath. Tom ran his hands through my hair as I sobbed loudly.

"Your, your really here," he asked again. I nodded.

"Yes, yes I am baby," I replied. He begged me again before we looked at the rest of the cast and crew. A lot of them were in tears while some had their phones out. "I love you and will see you after work."

"Actually all of us are very thankful for your service to our country so we are allowing for Tom to have today and tomorrow off so you two can enjoy time together," the director stepped in.

"Thank you so much," I said. Tom and I thanked everyone for this before going home.

When we got home we didn't separate unless someone had to go to the bathroom. THST night we didn't have s lot of sex or anything we just watched movies and talked.

"I love you," Tom said while kissing my arm.

"I love you too," I said before laying my head on his shoulder.

I just want to thank every veteran and person currently fighting so we can have a free country. That you so much for your service.
