"wake up whore." mackenzie ziegler woke up to her sister, maddie, tugging on her arm as she got annoyed. "how about shutting the fuck up, cunt." she says, rolling around so her back faced her sister. "kenzie, wake the fuck up!" maddie yelled in frustration. it was loud enough for their mom to hear.

"madison, language !" melissa screamed from her room which made kenzie chuckle softly, "why should i? it's not the first day of school." kenzie groaned as she rubbed her eyes awake. "yeah, but we have to go school shopping, and we have dance this afternoon." maddie walked off, slamming the door behind her. "ugh!" kenzie rolled her eyes and sat up.

mackenzie silently thank the gods for waking her up from that horrible nightmare that reoccures. she yawned and stretched to wake her body up before reaching for her phone on her nightstand. when turning on her phone, she noticed that she received a couple of messages from nadia turner, her best friend.

"kenzie!" one of the messages read. "that cute boy from school texted me." said the other. kenzie rolled her eyes and smiled. nadia and mackenzie start high school soon and they both attended an orientation last week where they met a certain boy. nadia instantly grew a crush. "aren't you excited to see him next week?" kenzie quickly texted back before getting out of bed.

she changed out of her pajamas to a simple outfit and went along with the same routine she does every morning. after finishing up her make up, she jogged down the stairs and walked to the kitchen where she met her mother and sister who were both eating breakfast. "hey kenzie." melissa smiles to her youngest daughter, "someone is finally up." maddie mumbles as she eats a spoonful of cereal. "morning mom." kenzie says, ignoring maddie's comment.

after earing breakfast, the three headed for the car and made their journey to target, where they bought school supplies  for the following school years and other "necessities."

with the talent mackenzie has for art, she applied and was accepted to the "los angeles' school of arts." she'll be majoring in art which gave her a reason to actually like going to school. she had mixed feelings about the new year; excitement, nervous, dreading.

when arriving at target, mackenzie made her way to buy all of the school sipplies listed on a paper from her school and failed to fight the urge to throw the things that caught her eye in her cart. after buying everything and watching her mom's expression turn angry as she watches the total price go up, they made their way to the studio for the abby lee dance company.
