"i love you too, johnny." kenzie flashes her beautiful smile at me while i stand here in shock. "wait, really?" i asked.

"i always have. i know it was wrong, but ever since we sang that song, i knew i was falling." she tucks her hair behind her ear as she explains. "and i mean, i fell hard. i didn't want to admit it after everything, but now that everything is," she hesitates, "pretty much okay, i know now. i love you johnny."

i smile and tackle mackenzie. she laughs as i'm hovering over her and kiss her all over her face. "i love you too, mackenzie ziegler." soon, there was prolonged eye contact. seems like that was our thing now. "shit, you have beautiful eyes." i admit. she smiles and pull my head by my neck and starts to kiss me.

everything i wanted was finally happening. the person i wanted was (unofficially) mine. for the first time in months i was happy. i was with the girl i loved.

i pull away, "i love saying it. i love you, i love you, i love you." i smile, "you're a dork." kenzie laughs, "i'm your dork." i say. "ew, that was so fucking corny." she cringes and i laugh, "yeah, it really was." she pulls me in for a kiss once more. i leave trails of kisses from her lips to her neck. she plays with my hair as i slightly kiss her neck.

"ugh, get a room." i hear nadia joke. i roll my eyes as i turn my head to see nads and maddie walk down the stairs. "i swear johnny, break my sister's heart again, i will break your nose." maddie stares me at the eye, and i climb off of mackenzie. "no, this time i won't." i stare back. "better not." she mumbles.

"let me put on a movie." nadia says sitting next to mackenzie. she cuddles up next to me, and i kiss the top of her head as she lays it on my chest. "wow, nice to know i'm the third wheel here." nadia jokes around. "you got jokes nadia." i laugh, "sorry nads." kenzie says. nadia logs into disney plus and puts on lion king as maddie walks in with a bowl of popcorn.

"so," i whisper into mackenzie's ear. "so?" she whispers back. "santa monica pier on saturday?" i ask. "it's a date johnny boy."
