it was raining outside. it was dark. lighting struck from the sky, and fear took upon her. she pulls the blanket up to her mouth, hoping he won't come back to her room. she hoped, and hoped.

tick tock. tick tock.

the volume of the lighting and the rain hitting the window was nothing compared to how loud the clock was.

she looked out the window, through the little sliver inbetween the blinds. then to her door across the room. finally, she turned her eyes at the ticking clock that hung there at the wall.

it's been thirty minutes after the time he comes in. he usually comes in at the same time. but today, he's late. maybe he's not coming, thought the girl.

with relief, she got comfortable, hoping to get some sleep tonight. but suddenly, the door slammed open.

she shot around, looking for who was there. she saw the silhouette of a big, familiar, figure standing there. it was him. she tried to scream for help, but nothing was coming out.

she tried to scream, as hot tears fell out of her eyes. the figure got closer and closer. her eyes got more blurry, and her fear grew larger.

out of the ordinary, it became pitch black. "mackenzie, wake up. mackenzie !"

hey loves ;) if you're new, hi! thank you for reading my story. if not, welcome back. i revisited this book since it still has been receiving a lot of love. i found many mistakes that i wanted to fix and there were just very messy parts that i wanted to re-do. so i decided to re-edit and re-publish everything.
