The Damned Kingdom (Rewritten)

-Chapter 4-

"Hey get back here!!" Jay yelled still chasing the guy now spewing orange like how everyone else is. The guy hasn't responded. He has just kept running and jumping through the forest that was just off the cliff side. The man was running faster than a normal human and Jay didn't know how he was keeping up with him but he was and he eventually caught the guy and they both stopped in their tracks. Jay finally has a chance to ask the questions he needs to ask. But the guy was cowering in fear. He couldn't get down or hide because Jay had a hard enough grip on him but he was still really scared.

"C'mon I just want to talk. There's no need to be scared." Jay assured the guy. He starts to calm down when Vex comes down and lands scaring him beyond belief and he starts to try running again. "Vex go I got this."

"Are you sure he isn't a spy of the people who attacked you?"

"Do you even know who attacked us? They were literally just scouts. And you slaughtered them without second thought. Just, leave I just have questions for him," Jay starts shooing her away.

Vex throws her hands up and says "You need to go find Kat and Krypt after this then. You kinda just ditched them and it's not a good thing for you guys to be split up. Especially if you are in this forest." She notices a shadow figure walk off once it realizes she spotted him.

"Why don't you just--" Jay started but he realized that she was already gone. "Man why is she like that? Anyway, you." Jay lets go of the guy and points at him and then at a rock in a clearing nearby. The guy co-operates and walked over to the rock and sits on it while Jay stays standing in front of him. "Cool, can I get your name?" Jay asked.

"J-Jax." Jax answers,"Y-you ain't gonna kill me are you?" Jax instantly stands up with worryness in his eyes.

"Nah. Just gonna ask questions." Jay patted his shoulder.

"What about that woman with the wings. You called her Vex."

"I won't let her do anything to you. Honestly she shouldn't have killed those scouts." Jay sighs, "Besides, you are the closest thing to answers I have right now."

"A-answers? Like where you are? Your in Xuxorid territory i can go show you where the castle is an--"

"Woah buddy, Slow down. You obviously know I'm not from here."

"Yeah your from an Earth dimension right?"

"Wait you're telling me we're not on Earth anymore?" Jay has totally forgotten that Vex has explained this to him.

"No. this is the Four Kingdoms dimension." By now Jax has calmed down.

"Wait, no, I need you to tell me about the colors Im seeing from the trees from you and from that bunny that's just hopping by us."

"You- You see Aura? I'm not crazy!" Jax leaped in joy.

"Aura? What the hell is Aura?" Jay grabbed Jax from the air and brought him back on ground level with each hand on each shoulder holding Jax in place.

"I-Its everything's life force you can control how much is seeping out and you can control how much you see and from where you can see it and if you close your eyes you can sense where what Aura you're looking for is. It's neat and handy to have, but everyone who i tell this to usually thinks i'm crazy." Jax takes Jay's hands off of his shoulder and stands back away. Jay tries to follow but Jax has him stay back. "I've also been working on something else." Jax's eye started glowing orange and a ball of orange energy was coming out of his hand. Jax held his hand out and showed Jay the ball of Aura he conjured up. "We can use Aura to fight as well. It can be our greatest weapon! I've also noticed a lot of physical buffs including fast healing. It's awesome the things we can do." Jax's orange glow in his eye went away, as well did the Ball of Aura in that was in his hand.
