The Damned Kingdom (Rewritten)

-chapter 10-

It’s been at least two hours since Jay was put into the wooden cell. “Wonder where Kat and Krypt are.” Jay was thinking out loud.

Vex walked in saying, “Found you mother fucker.” Vex walks up and starts tapping on the wooden cell. “You know it’s not that hard to break out of these. It’s called, being cool.” Vex punches the cell and it becomes splinters. Jay rolls his eyes at her. “Let's roll.”

“Not so fast. My munny.” Jordi says sneaking up on them both of them.

Vex turns on her heels to face Jordi. “Munny? I might of put a bounty on his head to find him, doesn’t mean I will be willing to give you said ‘munny’.” Vex draws her sword. “What will happen if I don’t give you the munny? You’ll kill me? You’ll put me into  trap where you think will keep me contained? Or will you kill him? Do that and you’ll regret it sweetheart.” Vex twirls her sword around.

“Just pay him,” Jay pickpockets Vex of the promised bounty and gives it to Jordi. “Now weren’t we leaving?” He walks off with Vex following looking annoyed. Jay enters the bar and stops and is going through her wallet, “Didn’t know you were loaded Vex.” Jay say’s mockingly. “What does a ‘queen of darkness’ need a wallet for?”

“For when she is too lazy to summon the damn money. You know when my Shade is on and I look like someone completely different, I am gonna need some fucking munny.” Vex Shade make her look like a usual mortal.

“Whatever you say.” Jay tosses the wallet back. “So where we going?”

“Do go bring your lazy ass back to Kat and Krypt. Krypt is being annoying.”

“Now you know how I feel everyday. It’s just ten times worse. But I’m guessing the only way to get back to them is through you.” Jay holds out his hand. “Take me to them.” Jay’s left eye started glowing showing his feelings were intensifying.

“Of course. Humans can’t get to my realm. But you also can’t get out of it. Don’t piss me off old friend.” Vex grabs his arm and they are shifted to the Fae Realm. “There you go.” Vex points to Krypt in the cage and Kat who is sitting watching Krypt as he is high and laughing his ass off.

“Really Krypt?” Jay hops down into the cage.

“Oh hey Jay!” Krypt said barely getting out a sentence between laughs.

Vex's shade drops and she is in her natural form. She walks over to a desk covered with Fae books in an unknown language. She sighs and stays silent for a long time. She stands there without moving a muscle. Just thinking.

“Kat how long has he been like this?” Jay asks turning to her not even bothering helping Krypt up.

“How should I know. It isn’t like we have a way to tell time here.” Kat sent saltiness towards Vex.

Vex waves her hand and a watch appear around all their wrists. “Say the name of the Realm and it will give you the time. Ask the time difference between realms and it will also tell you.”

“Convenient.” Jay said under his breath Jumping out of the cage Krypt was in and stood next to Kat, hands in his pocket.

“Your saltiness level should go down a couple notches my friend. For it is now unnecessary.” Vex adds. Then she turns around, a black strand of hair takes over a blond streak.

“H-have you met her she’s always salty” Krypt gets out not breathing from laughing and takes another hit. 'What the hell was that' Jay thought to himself as he watched the blond streak turn black. He looks at Kat who nods in agreement in what they saw.

“Well Krypt have you not realized, it was meer months for you as it was two centuries for me. I don’t remember. Just like I don’t remember who I am.” Vex voice ends with sadness. Her eyes close and something appears in her hand. A necklace, she clutches it to her chest.
