Jay sits up in the bed he was laying in, “Sorry Vex you can’t fool me, once the other two learn how to use aura They’ll remember X as well,” Jay stands from his bed and starts roaming the halls.
“Halt! What are you doing?” A Fae yells at him.
“Just walking around. I couldn’t sleep so I thought I’d re-collect my thoughts.” Jay answers.
“You are ordered to go back to the Sleeping Quarters at once!” The Fae orders.
“I don’t take orders from one I can’t trust. Tell me your name and I’ll think about it.”
“V’lane.” Vex says behind Jay. “He is a guest. Treat him like one.” V’lane looks at Vex and narrows his eyes.
“He is not allowed to be in the Ancient Halls.”
“Do you wish to argue with me.” Vex growls, shifting directly in front of V’lane.
Jay takes this opportunity to slip away unnoticed. 'Christ what has our lives come to? Fae, Beast?'
“Something wrong?” Vex asks appearing behind him. “You know this castle is practically connected to me. I can sense you wherever you go”
“I thought something was up with the Aura here. It’s unsettling.” Jay’s Left eye glows green again.
“It’s unsettling for me as well. For the mortal side and fae side are always at battle with each other. But I am not dumb my friend. I might seem blind to you scheme but I am not. I put you three into a deep slumber. Not even I could get out of so soon.” Vex shifts in front of him. “So tell me, how is your aura so powerful that my spell could not keep you asleep, and how it didn’t replace your memories?”
“I don’t know. I’m still new to the concept of Aura myself. Maybe it has a mind of its own.” Jay keeps eyeing a person in dragon armor behind him. 'Who the hell is that? Damnit if only she wasn’t here.'
“You might think I am cruel for what I am doing to X. But you do not understand my purpose. I let him age. Grow up. He enjoyed the beast and slaughtered hundreds of innocent people. He likes to lie to get what he wants. And what he wants is my head on a spike.” Vex tells Jay. Vex is about ready to turn around. But she senses something off. “What do you keep eyeing my friend?”
“Huh? I’m eyeing something?” Jay lies horribly.
“Hm. Whatever it is I'll let it slide. If a Fae comes to tell you to go back to the Quarters tell them to talk to me.” Vex shifts away.
“Ok, who are you and why is it only I can see you?” Jay turn’s non-oblivious to the fact Vex is listening in on the one sided conversation.
“I am Dragon-Vire. I’ve helped you before. Maybe you’ll remember me in this form.” Dragon-Vire turns to a dragon to show Jay then turns back. “Only you can see me because only you can wield my blade.”
“That makes no sense so this sword has a mind of its own?”
“A personality of its own.” Dragon-Vire corrects
“Yep I’ve lost it. I’ve officially lost it.” Jay says turning to walk away.
“How do you think you can do a lot that you haven’t done. For instance, fix a broken nose?” Jay turned back around and looked at Dragon-Vire confused. “My abilities were transferred to you as soon as you drew me Tsunamii.”
“How the hell--?”
“Do I know your name? Easy. I scanned your memories. You also like that girl with the Light Blue Aura. Her name was Kat correct? Kat Lynn.” Jay looks at Dragon-Vire silent in a go on mentality. “Then your best friend is the one with the red Aura. Ark Krypt. Man your friend’s names are hard to say. No wonder you keep them short.”
