The Damned Kingdom (Rewritten)

-Chapter 6-

“BAIT?!” Jax didn’t like the idea of being the peace offering.

“Yeah Kat and Krypt are my best friends I cant hand them over.” Jay says walking towards the castle that shows through the thickness of the forest trees. Jay feels two dark presences he could tell one of them is Vex and it seemed she was fighting someone but he ignores it. ‘She can take care of herself.’ He put trust in her to stay alive. “So, Let's go!”

“W-why don’t we just go find that Vex girl and give her as bait!”

“She’d kill us if we did that.” Krypt said putting his hand on Jax’s back trying to scare him.

“Besides I wouldn’t let that happen. If Jay even thought about doing that I’d make sure he’s the one being the peace offering.” Kat said walking to Jay and poking his forehead.

“There really isn’t anyway out of it Jax. If anything we’ll bust you out when we have enough of the king’s trust.”

“Or you guys might just get thrown in there with me.” Jax says pouting. All four of them has started heading to the Castle of Xuxorid by this point and by the end of the conversation they have reached the front of the caste gates.

“WHO GOES THERE!!!” one of the castle guards yells

“We found someone who killed Soldiers and wanted to turn him in!” Jay answers.

“LOWER THE BRIDGE!!”

Jay looks at Krypt and Kat, “See what did I say?” when the bridge was done lowering The Scout Leader was standing right infront of them.

“So what did you say?” Kat asked sarcastically.

“Well, well, well. Look at what I found.” The Scout leader said.

“H-hey buddy…” Jay nervously stuttered.

“I wouldn’t call you a buddy.” Soldiers started running from behind him and apprehends Jay, Kat and Krypt and lets Jax free.

“Oh you are SO not working for him!!” Jay is getting pissed really fast.

“Should’ve seen that coming,” Krypt says almost chuckling at the situation.

“Take them to the king for a prosecution.” Jax orders. “I am the commander of Xuxorid’s Army He works for me. Remember that.” Jax tells Jay as Jay is being brought past him.

“You won’t be so high and mighty soon. You know as well as I do I didn’t kill your soldiers!”

“Tell that to the King.” Jay, Kat, and Krypt were being pushed across the big brown drawbridge. Through the big stone wall and they were coming up on the castle walking down a gray stone path that leads towards the doors that lead into the castle. The castle halls seemed like a rich person’s mansion on Earth. A bunch of expensive looking pictures on the walls, a lot of plants, and a red carpet. Leading all the way to the throne room where the king was sitting there waiting for a report it seemed.

Vex shifts in behind the king's throne. Leaning against it. “Hello my friends.” Vex greets, the King jumps with the sudden scare. Vex laughs. Vex steps down and walks over to her friends. She rest her arm on Kat’s shoulder. “Now what are you guys up too?”

“Trying to get ourselves out of a mess you put us in.” Krypt said trying to roll another blunt with bound hands.

“Harsh. Gimme that.” Vex snatches it and it burns in her hands, turns to ashes that softly fall to the ground. Vex smirks.

“M-my blunt…” Krypt falls to his knees.

“So you just gonna let us pay for your crimes or get us out of this?” Jay asked.

“What is going on here!” The King asks.

“Well King Dickbutt. I got my fellow friends into a bit of a mess, now if you will kindly erase their crimes and we can all be happy. Or do you want me to send my men here again? You know what happened last time.” Vex glares at the King, the king shudders. A sounds start rattling in Vex’s chest. Like a horrible harmony sound.

“Well didn’t know you had eaten a whole choir Vex.” Jay jokes.

“Are you the one who killed my men?” Jax walks in with blade in hand.

“Possibly. When you are the Dark Queen you don’t care about killing people. So most likely I did. What are you going to do about it?” Vex wings open and you can see her eyes darken.

“Nothing just wanted to know. Kat and Krypt are free to go. Jay stays with me.”

“Uh, no?” Jay says turning to Jax.

“Yeah that isn’t going to fly with me. I get all of them. I can lock your behind up forever. You could be my new pet at home if you decide you want to keep Jay.” Vex intimidates.

“Try me.” Jax grabs Jay’s shoulder and an orange smoke appears covering them both. When the smoke dissipates they are both gone.

Vex rolls her eyes and looks around. “Uhh you lad. Come here.” A guard stumbles over. Can’t be more than eighteen. “I have an important job for you. Go to the rest of the kingdoms, make sure if they see a Jax or a Jay they inform me. They know how to conjure me. Go now or you’ll be the food for my other pets.” The guard scrambles away. “For you royal heinous. We will be off. Don’t disappoint me. Bye.” Vex grabs Krypt and Kat and they go to the Faery Realm.
