NATSU'S P.O.V:

I was walking in the forest. My head was dizzy, and my eyesight was getting fuzzy. I sat down on a fallen branch, once I looked around to see where I was. I realized I was at the hut, that Happy, Lisanna and I use to play house at. The sun was going down, it was an amazing view, it always is.

"Natsu?" I turned around to face, "Lisanna, what are you doing here?" I asked her. She walked over to me and sat down next to me. "I was walking around and I saw you coming here, so." "So, you decided to follow me?" Her cheeks turned red and she looked away from me. "I just wanted to make sure that you're okay." I didn't say anything. "Natsu, are you okay? You've been distancing yourself from everyone. Is something wrong?" She put her hand on top of mine and I flinched away. I scooted away from her but that only made Lisanna move closer and close the distance between us. "Is something wrong Natsu? You're acting really weird." "Yes! Why everyone keeps asking me that!" I snapped at her. She jumped away and looked shocked that I yelled. She regained herself and gave me a small smile, "Remember when we were little and we were playing family with Happy." "More like you forced me to play family," I muttered. "Yeah, I might have forced you. But, we still had a fun time right?"

*Flashback*

NATSU'S P.O.V:

I was in the forest punching pictures of Erza and Gray that I drew and tied them into a tree. I just lost another fight to Erza when I was fighting Gray, she took us off guard. So I decided to go to my usual spot and practice my punches.

"Stupid Gray! Stupid Erza! You stink!" With one last punch, the whole tree shook. My right fist was red, "That didn't hurt at all." Then out of nowhere a giant dragon egg that landed on top of my head. I know that is going to leave a bump. It was white with blue markings that looked like dragon claws. I grabbed the egg and ran as fast as I could to the guildhall. Once I made it the guild doors I kicked it open and yelled, "Hey everyone check out what I have found." I raised the egg above my head.

I went to Gramps and he looked at the egg-like he has never seen one this big before, "Where on earth did you find that?" Gramps asked. "In the East Forest," I answered him. "Seems like Natsu can do something right. Are you going to fry that for us?" Gray asked. I turned my head and looked at Gray like he was crazy, which he was. "Are you crazy?! Can't you see? It's a dragon egg and I'm going to hatch it." I placed the egg on top of a pillow that I found lying around. "You sure it's a dragon egg?" Cana asked. "Well look at the blue markings on the outside of the egg. They look like dragon claws right?" "I don't know about that Natsu," Gray said. I turned to look at gramps, "Well anyway, why don't you hatch the egg with a spell Gramps." I said with a smile. He scoffed and said. "Don't be a fool. Using magic for such a thing would dishonor the miracle of life. You see, life is born from love and love alone. No spell can defeat that power." My mind went completely blank, "Sorry Gramps, I don't think I got what you were saying." Gramps just sighed, "Hopefully, you'll understand when you grow up." "Not likely," Gray muttered.

Erza walked up and said, "He's trying to explain that hatching the egg, will take time and hard work. And since you only brake and burn everything. This might actually be good for you Natsu." "Erza! I've been looking for you red!" Mira pushed Gray and me out of the way. "Oh really?" Erza asked with a smirk. "Yeah, we never did finish our last fight." Everyone scattered away. Mira and Erza charged toward each other and started to brawl. "Oh, so we can't fight but she can?" Gray said in annoyance. "How is that fair?" I asked.

"One day, I'll have them both beg for mercy." I cracked my knuckles. "Yeah right. If you keep talking like that. You'll never have your chance with the ladies." Lisanna walked up next to me. "Oh shut up Lisanna!" "Don't be mean. I was about to ask if you want my help hatching that egg. But since you are being mean, I guess you don't want it." I grabbed her wrist before she was about to walk away. "Wait! Wait! I'm sorry! Can you please help hatch this egg Lisanna?" She turned around to face me and gave me a soft smile, "Ok, I'll help. I never raised a dragon before, I bet it might be fun." "I don't think fun is the right word," Gray said. I looked down at the egg, "So, how are we supposed to make it hatch?" "I think we just need to warm it up." Lisanna thought. I looked back at her, "What? Seriously? That's all we have to do? This will be a piece of cake." I picked up the egg and breathed fire at it. "Not like that Natsu!" Lisanna yelled. It looked like her eyes were about to come out. Next thing I know Gray kicked me upside the head and grabbing the egg from me, "Are you stupid?!" He yelled.

"Be careful Natsu! We're trying to hatch it! Not fry it! But don't worry, let my magic handle this." A bright light appeared, "Change over! Animal soul!" Lisanna turned herself into a giant bird. "Wow! You're a bird." I said I amazement. "Oh, I see," Gray smirked. "Birds, are really good at hatching eggs," Lisanna explained. "You're so smart Lisanna!" "Let's go to the park Natsu," Lisanna suggested. I nodded my head, agreeing with her. We walked over to Magnolia South Gate Park. Lisanna and I were sitting across from each other. She wrapped the egg in her wings, while starred at the egg. "Natsu, you're making me nervous with that stare of your's," Lisanna said. I ignored her and asked, "The egg will hatch if we sit like this?" She nodded her head yes, "It gets kind of boring though, waiting like this." The egg started to twitch, "Look it's moving!" Then, it shot up and hit Lisanna in the face, "Not so boring anymore." I laughed. The egg bounced on the ground and landed in my hands. "It stopped." "Maybe the egg wants you to warm it up Natsu." Lisanna thought. "You think so?" I asked her. "Yeah." "Hey egg, do you want to be with me?" I asked it. Then we heard scratching sounds from the inside. "I'll take that as a yes." "We should make a little house for the egg." "Great idea Lisanna! It can be like a secret base."

We were somewhere in the forest and I started to make a house out of boulders, "What do you think? Pretty awesome right?" "Yeah, pretty awesome Natsu." Right after she said that the house crumbled. "Okay, let me try Natsu." Lisanna walked up and a bright, pink light appeared. Lisanna started to make the house. "What do you think Natsu?" "It's awesome Lisanna!"
