4- "I'll Never Let Them Hurt You, Not Tonight"

*Emily's POV*

Gerard and Frank left an hour ago. Mom and dad had come home and they ran like hell to leave. I'm sure mom and dad would get suspicious if they saw Frank and Gerard, they'd probably recognize them.

I was sitting up in my room blasting Misfits through my CD player. My parents were downstairs asleep, but I didn't care. I need to calm down after everything today. I still can't comprehend everything. Maybe I should take a walk.

I shut off my music quickly, rushing to get some shoes on. I was still in my outfit from today so I didn't have to worry about that. Once I had my shoes on I opened my window. There was a tree outside my window that I could climb down.

I slowly crept out of my window, careful not to make any loud noises. I got outside, leaving my window open so I could get inside easily when I got home. I climbed down the tree quickly, sending myself to the ground.

I walked down the quiet streets, thinking about today.

The day started out with me absolutely loathing everything. I was pushed, yelled at, called every name under the sun. Then I found my brother and best friend that haven't seen in two years. All of the information just wasn't processing in my head. I was beyond happy that I found them. But something was off.

They're both so different, almost too different.

Something about them changed that wasn't in plain sight.

I heard footsteps behind me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned around to see no one there. I had a horrible feeling in my stomach. I knew something bad would happen if I didn't leave now.

I turned around and started running back home. I felt the presence of someone behind me, only making me run faster. Heavy footsteps began to approach me. My heart rate wouldn't calm down.

I felt arms wrap around my body. I tried to scream but whoever was holding me clamped my mouth shut before I could scream.

"I told you I'd be back beautiful..." I heard a familiar voice sneer.

Andy?!

I felt something sharp pierce my neck. Intense pain shot through my body. It felt as if I was on fire. I looked over to see Andy drinking the blood from my neck.

V-Vampires are real?!

I felt Andy being pulled away from me harshly. My legs felt weak, my body fell to the ground. I put my hand over the bite marks on my neck, feeling blood on my neck. My vision got blurry.

I heard the sounds of yelling and punches as I laid there. I heard fast footsteps speeding away from me.

I-I'm going to die aren't I...?

Someone rushed to my side, pulling my body close to them.

"Emily, just hold on." I heard a voice.

My hearing was starting to fade out along with my vision. I couldn't recognize who this person was. I felt a pressure on the wound on my neck. Before feeling more pain through my body. That same piercing pain from Andy had returned.

I screamed out in pain. My vision got worse, darkness threatening to consume me. The pain from my neck was released. I could feel my life draining from my body.

"You'll wake up soon Sugar..." I heard a voice before darkness completely took over.
