-The title of this chapter is from The Kids From Yesterday by My Chemical Romance-
*Gerard's POV*
Everyone has been a bit distant lately. No one has talked much in the house. I think we're all just nervous about what's about to happen. None of us know what will happen. That's our only fear, the fear of the unknown.
We've been training a lot and we're getting much better. Mikey actually managed to knock Bob out the other day. He didn't mean to, but he still did. It was a damn good punch too, Bob was out for a while.
I'm gonna meet with Andy soon. We're ready to fight. But we should probably take another day or two to train just in case.
I think Emily's hiding something. I think she had another vision and was too scared to tell us. If it was important to us I think she'd tell us. I don't know, but I have to find out what it is.
She's sleeping right next to me right now, I'll ask her when we go to train later. We need to catch a moment alone to talk about whatever she saw if it's something serious.
"Guys get up!" Frank yelled coming through the door.
He scared Emily awake. Emily's face filled with anger. Emily pushed her hand forward and moved it to the left, snapping her fingers. Frank was pushed backwards, the bedroom door was closed and locked.
You could hear Frank knocking on the door from the other side.
"We need to train, let's go!" Frank yelled.
"Fucking midget..." Emily silently insulted Frank.
Frank's footsteps faded down the stairs. Emily got up and went to the closet, grabbing a pair of leggings and a Marilyn Manson t-shirt.
I got up shortly afterwards and grabbed some jeans and a plain black shirt. Emily was sitting on our bed putting on her combat boots that she wore everyday. I slipped on my black converse quickly.
She brushed out her now shoulder length freshly dyed white hair. She wasn't talking, she seemed so distant.
"Hey are you okay?" I asked.
She opened her mouth to say something but stopped herself. She put her hairbrush down and walked towards the door, unlocking it.
"Let's just go." She mumbled opening the bedroom door and leaving.
Did I do something? What's wrong with her?
I went downstairs after her and saw everyone else standing there. We all went out the back door to the woods where we had been spending a lot of time lately.
"Alright, we're just going to be doing the same thing we did on day one. Splitting up into pairs and fighting. We're using the same pairs as we did before. Ray and Bob, Mikey and Frank, Emily and I. Frank and Mikey you go first. Frank you'll be using the tactics." I instructed everybody.
Frank and Mikey walked to the middle of the field.
"Now!" I yelled.
They began to rush at each other. Mikey ducked and slid past Frank. Mikey sped away fast enough and hid in a tree. Frank looked around for him. Mikey jumped out of the tree about to attack Frank. Frank noticed him just in time and caught one of his feet, throwing him to the ground. Frank pinned Mikey to the ground. I was about to tell them to stop but Mikey got a hold of Frank and flipped him behind his head. Mikey got up and pinned Frank there, Frank not being able to get up.
"Alright, nice job. Both of you." I complimented them.
Mikey helped Frank up off the ground. Both of them walking back over to the rest of us.
"You and me Emily, you're using the tactics this time." I instructed her.
I'm a little scared to fight her honestly.
"Now!" I yelled.
Emily disappeared from where she was, completely vanishing. Oh no, where'd she go. I looked around, trying to find her. I felt her jump on my back and tightly put her hands around my neck. I fell to the ground face first, her laying on my back.
"Okay okay, you win." I gave up quickly.
Emily got up off of me, walking away. I got up, expecting to see her standing with the guys. But she wasn't, she was gone.
I started walking to go find her but Ray stopped me.
"Don't , I think she needs some time to herself." Ray stopped me.
I sighed and turned back around to face the guys.
"Ray and Bob go ahead, Ray you're using the tactics." I instructed them.
The two of them walked to the center of the field.
"Go!" I yelled out to them.
I didn't even watch them fight. I was too worried about Emily. Something happened that she's not telling me about. I need to find out what she saw.
"Gerard!" Frank yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts.
Ray and Bob stopped fighting rushing towards me.
"What's wrong?" Frank asked.
I need to find out what's wrong with her.
"Go back to the house, I'm gonna find Emily." I instructed.
I saw Mikey about to say something. Before he could argue with me I stopped him.
"Just go." I told them again.
They all just nodded and sped back in the direction of the house. I turned around and walked deeper into the woods. I could sense her, but she wasn't here in the woods.
It's a mate thing. When a vampire turns their human mate they can sense them from miles away. But if she was in another town I wouldn't be able to sense her. I closed my eyes trying to think of where she could've gone.
Cemetery Drive...
I turned around and sped in the direction of the cemetery. I got there within seconds. Yeah she's here. I can still sense her, it's stronger.
I walked around looking for her, I found her sitting on the ground by her parents graves.
"Emily, what happened?" I asked.
She looked up quickly at me, tears streaming down her face.
"Please tell me." I said with pure worry in my voice.
I think she saw how worried I truly was. She took a deep breath and began to speak.
"I had another vision. It wasn't about the fight. It was some other time, but I don't know when. It was you and Andy, you were fighting. Right by the old willow tree where I first met Andy. You had cuts all over your face, bruises, blood. He pinned you against a tree and continued to beat you to death. He was barely hit, only a few bruises here and there. He dropped you to the ground and leaned down to you. He plunged his hand into your chest, about to rip your heart out. That's all I saw. I think he's going to kill you." She explained in a weak tone.
My heart shattered as she explained all of this. I know her visions aren't absolute because the future could change. But she saw a vision of Andy killing me.
She began to sob. I grabbed her shoulder and pulled her to me, letting her cry on me. A few stray tears rolled down my cheeks.
Am I really going to die...?
