20- "But I'm On Your Side"

     *Emily's POV*

  I decided to go on a walk, calming myself down from today's events.  Yes, one good thing did come out of this day.  I'm with Gerard now, but everything else today has been hell.  We met Brendon, I learned all of the guys' stories, Brendon is obsessing over me for no reason.  I don't think the day can get any worse.

  I decided to stay away from the cemetery.  The old cemetery which usually brought peace to me was now a melting pot for bad memories.  It was where Andy first attacked me, it was where Frank and Mikey met their immortal fates, where my deceased parents had been buried.  

  It was where vampires lurked at all hours.

  And I had no intention of returning anytime soon.

  I just walked through the empty streets of New Jersey, taking a moment to calm myself down.

  A pain suddenly struck through my body, I knew this pain well.  It was blood lust.  I needed to feed.  I'll have to go to the woods and find something.  I turned around and began to walk towards the woods.  I kept my head low, fearing the blood lust caused my eyes to change to their blood lust state.

  Thankfully I wasn't too far from the woods, I was only about a block from the woods from which where animals typically were.  I quietly walked into the woods, being careful not to scare any animals.  I could smell a deer around me somewhere.  I looked around hoping to catch sight of it.  

  I quickly jumped up into a tall tree so I had a better lookout of my surroundings.  I spotted the deer about twenty yards away from me.  I barred my fangs, about to rush after it.

  "Goddamnit Luna!  You're really going to betray your own brother?!" A man boomed somewhere in the woods.

  The yelling scared the deer away, causing it to run away and out of my sight.

  "Damnit..." I sighed.

  "I can't be on your side with this!  I don't want to hurt anybody!"  The girl boomed just as loud.

  "You bitch!" I heard the man yell.

  A loud slap echoed out shortly after those words were spoken.  He hit her.  I'm not taking that lightly.

  I jumped out of the tree, landing on my feet with ease.  I could sense a vampire, I could smell a human.  They're not far, maybe I could save the girl.

  "What has gotten into you?!" The girl asked in between sobs.

  "You promised to stick by me Luna!  You promised to always stand with your big brother!" The man yelled.

  "That was before my brother became a monster!" The girl retorted.

  I heard a thump, it sounded like something hitting a tree.  I sped in the direction of the noise, being careful to not be seen.  I eventually saw the siblings, he was holding her by her throat against the tree, she was maybe six inches off the ground.  The girl noticed me.

  I put my finger to my lips, signaling her not to draw attention to me and be quiet.  I crept my way up behind the man quietly, about to strike.  I could see the girl struggling to breathe, she was about to pass out.  

  I didn't waste anymore time, I grabbed the man by the back of his neck and pressed my hand on the girls arm.  So when I threw him away from her she wouldn't go flying with him.  With every bit of strength I had, I pulled the man back and threw the man away from her.  His body quickly went flying about four yards away from us.  His back hit a tree at full force, making a few bones in his body crack loudly. 

  The girl fell to the ground, holding her throat and gasping for air.  

  "Ha...is that all you got?" The man asked started to get up. 

  I sped over to him, kicking him back to the ground.  He flew back a few feet, clenching his chest in pain.

  "Let's go..." I said to the girl, helping her up off the ground.

  "I won't forget this Luna, I'll find you." The man said sickeningly to the girl known as Luna.

  "Go to hell Ronnie..." She sneered back weakly.

  I grabbed Luna's arm, putting her on my back and speeding back to the house.  I wasn't going to let Ronnie hurt Luna anymore.  The guys and I can and will protect her.

  Within seconds we had arrived back to the house.  She girl looked a little dizzy from the sudden movement.

  "Don't worry Luna, we'll protect you now."  I assured her as I led her into the house.

  "Guys we have a problem!" I yelled out.

  The guys had sped downstairs to us within seconds, frantic looks covering their faces.

  "Who's this?" Mikey asked curiously.

  Frank had a dumbfounded look on his face.  That's strange...

  "I was walking through the woods, trying to track a deer to feed off of.  Then suddenly I heard her and this man fighting.  He hit her, he nearly killed her.  I hurt him pretty badly and brought her here.  Her name is Luna, she was fighting with her brother, his name is Ronnie..." I said slowly realizing who Ronnie might be.

  Bob's face became extremely angry.  Luna's face drained of color as she noticed Bob's glare.

  "Luna Radke..." Bob sneered.

  Shocked faces covered the room as the girls identity was revealed.

  Luna's innocent face contorted to fear as angry faces began to glare at her.

  She was related to Ronnie Radke.

  The man that turned Bob...

  She's related to the enemy...
