33- "I'm Shocked At What You're Capable Of"

     *Emily's POV*

  "I don't wanna go to school today! I'm technically dead, what's the point of school?" I whined.

  Gerard was trying to get me to get up outta bed but I refused to move today.

  "Babe we have to." He said, trying to get me to get up.

  "Ugghhhh." I groaned.

  "Stop groaning it's weird." Gerard said jokingly.

  "Would you prefer a different sound?" I asked.

  "Save that for later. Now come on." Gerard had finally had enough.

  Gerard picked me up from our bed and swung me around. He sat me down on the ground and went to the closet.

  He picked out a Green Day tee and skinny jeans for me.

  "Put these on." He instructed me.

  I huffed and took the clothes.

  "If we hurry we can go get coffee." He persuaded me.

  I instantly stood up and started getting dressed. I really wanted coffee.

  Gerard laughed at how excited I got about coffee. I was dressed quickly and brushed my hair out. I grabbed a jacket just in case. At least this shirt shows the new tattoo sleeve. We grabbed our backpacks and went downstairs.

  "We're taking the car. I'll drive. We can get coffee on the way." Ray announced.

  "How are we all gonna fit in the car?" Frank asked.

  "I'll drive. Bob can sit in the passengers seat. Emily can sit on Gerard's lap, Luna can sit on Frank's lap and Mikey can sit in the back with them. Simple." Ray had explained.

  We all went along with his plan. When Ray has a plan you can't argue with him.

Mikey grabbed his backpack from off the couch. We walked outside to the car and got in just like Ray instructed us to.

  We stopped at Starbucks on the way and got some coffee.

  We arrived at school five minutes early.

  "What are we supposed to do for five minutes?" Luna asked.

  "We could walk around?" Mikey suggested.

  We all agreed and just roamed the halls, drinking our coffee. We were all cracking jokes and laughing. The bell rang, signaling us to go to class.

  We all separated and went to our classes.

  -time skip to lunch-

  We were all gathered in the cafeteria talking, much like everyday. But something was off. Brendon was giving us a death glare the entire time.

  We didn't wanna waste our breath confronting him so we said nothing.

  But I can tell he's up to something.

  "What's wrong?" Luna asked putting her hand on my shoulder.

  An image flashed in my mind. It was Brendon with a rag over Luna's mouth, her eyes drooping the longer it stayed. She passes out and Brendon takes her away.

  Brendon is going to kidnap Luna...I'm not letting it happen. She's not getting hurt like I did. She's human she'll be killed if she gets it as bad as I did.

  "We won't let him get her." Gerard whispered in my ear.

  I assume Gerard read my mind. I looked over at him and nodded. The bell rang signaling us to go to class. We all started getting up. Before Frank could leave with Luna I stopped him.

  "Frank keep a good eye on Luna." I whispered to him.

  He gave me a strange look, but he noticed how serious I was. He nodded and took Luna's hand.

  -time skip to the end of school-

  Luna and I were sitting outside. I was smoking a cigarette I took from Gerard while she stood there silently. We had been waiting for the guys for ten minutes. Where the fuck are they?

  My phone went off, Gerard was calling. I picked up the phone.

  "Hey where are you guys? Luna and I have been waiting." I asked.

  "I suggest you hurry along if you want to save your friends." I heard Brendon's voice on the other side of the phone.

  "Put Gerard on the phone." I demanded.

  "I don't think so darling. I have them at Giuseppe Iero's mausoleum if you want to save them. If you don't arrive in the next twenty minutes I'll rip your lover boys heart out." He threatened.

  "Who else is with you?" I asked.

  "You're smarter than I thought darling." He said.

  "Who the fuck is with you?" I asked.

  "I don't know. Who are you?" Brendon asked the person he was with.

  "Andy..." I heard Andy's deep voice on the other end of the phone.

  "You little fuckers." I insulted.

  "Now there's no need for that. You've got eighteen minutes left Emily. I suggest you come save them.  If you don't arrive in time none of them will survive." Andy threatened.

  "Bring Luna with you. See you soon." Brendon said.

  Right before I could say anything else Brendon hung up the phone.

  I could feel the anger rising within me every second. Luna heard the entire conversation because she looks terrified.

"We have to go. Now" I growled.

  I dropped my cigarette on the ground and stomped on it. I ran to the car and started it, good thing I had the keys.

  We began driving down to Cemetery Drive.

  I'm not letting anyone else get hurt, not now.
