     *Emily's POV*

The seven of us left the house and made our way to the Belleville Public Library. It doesn't close until six PM so we have a few hours.

Frank put Luna on his back and we all sped through New Jersey to the library. The streets were pretty vacant today so we didn't have to worry.

We made our way to the library within a few minutes. Luna looked a little dizzy from the speeding.

"Alright let's see what we can find." Mikey said before walking through the doors.

We all followed behind Mikey, making our way inside. The place was rather empty. There was a boy looking at comics along with an old librarian sitting behind a desk.

"I got it." Mikey said walking over to the lady.

  We followed behind him.

"Excuse me miss, could we by any chance get to the attic so we can try to find some information?" Mikey asked.

"Oh, I'm sorry kids but the attic is restricted. I can't let you up there." The lady informed us.

  Figured.

Mikey took a deep breath and stared at the lady.

"We need to go to the attic to look for information. Take us there." Mikey compelled her.

The lady blinked her eyes a few times and stood up.

"Right over here." The lady pointed to a ladder that led to the attic.

  "Thank you." Mikey thanked her.

"What are you looking for?" The lady asked.

"Umm...any records on witches?" I asked awkwardly.

"Oh, just look at any records from the 1700s to the 1800s." The lady said simply.

Okay that was kind of weird.

I just shook my head, climbing up the ladder with everyone following behind me.

The place looked really old. There was dust collecting atop various filing cabinets. Spiderwebs in every corner of the room. However it was organized.

There were filing cabinets all organized by decades.

We all split up and began looking.

  1810...1800..

I decided to check the 1820s.

I opened up the first drawer, thankfully it was in alphabetical order.

  W...anything on witches? Nothing

  I...maybe Iero witches? Nope

I then thought about the story that Gerard and Mikey's grandmother used to tell them. The witch's name was Giuseppe.

  G...I found something!

  Giuseppe Iero Witch Trial
             April 9th, 1824

A man by the name of Giuseppe Iero was recently killed in Belleville, New Jersey. Giuseppe was always a strange man, notorious for strange behavior in Belleville. The citizens were curious as to who he was. It was reported that he had been acting particularly strange recently. The citizens became worried and decided to investigate.

Upon further investigation the citizens found Giuseppe in an old mausoleum in Cemetery Drive. He was chanting in Latin and was surrounded by candles. The citizens found out Giuseppe was a witch and believed he was a danger. They feared for their lives and the lives of their children.

Giuseppe fled the cemetery to his own home. The citizens formed a mob to go after Giuseppe and kill him.  Giuseppe was later caught and burned at the stake.

Citizens later returned to the mausoleum to investigate the witchcraft he was studying and participating in. The scene of the place showed that Giuseppe had cast a spell very recently. A spell was found written down on a piece of paper. However the language was written in Latin.

Upon further investigation it was found out what the spell was.

A spell so that one day, when the time was right. One of his family members which was proved to be strong enough, would be the most powerful witch to ever walk the earth. It is unknown when that may happen. There was more information on the spell but the paper had been burned, leaving only a small portion of the paper left. The information could not be deciphered.

The information seemed to contain all of the qualities he wanted the future witch of his family to have. There was only one word on the paper that was still legible and a name.

  Vampire
  Emily

Giuseppe Iero was buried in an unmarked grave in Cemetery Drive.

  The article was stopped there.

So the man Giuseppe was real. He was burned at the stake when it came out that he was a witch. But he cast a spell so one of his relatives would be the most powerful witch to walk the earth.

  That witch is me...

Underneath was an old journal with a leather cover.

  "Giuseppe I." It read.

  I took the journal.

"Guys I know what it is!" I announced.

Everyone turned their heads to look at me for the answer.

"Giuseppe was a real man. He was a witch. He cast a spell so that one day one of his descendants would be a powerful witch." I began.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Frank asked.

"I'm not finished. The mans full name was Giuseppe Iero." I finished.

Frank dropped the file he was holding, his face covered in shock.

"Apparently after he died they found a paper, it was burned. The only words still legible on the paper was Vampire and Emily..." I added.

"Wait so...Giuseppe planned who that witch would be? You?" Mikey asked, trying to comprehend the information.

"That means I'm supposed to be the most powerful witch to ever walk the earth." I concluded.

"That's why your eyes are different from ours. The whites of your eyes go black. That's why, it has to be. We were confused as to why your eyes do that, but now we know I guess." Ray started putting the pieces together.

So it turns out I'm supposed to be a powerful witch. Giuseppe was a real man.

Life just keeps getting better and better...
