39- "It's The Beginning Of The End"

     -The title of this chapter is from Beginning of the End by Spineshank-

     *Emily's POV*  

  Gerard and I are still sitting in Cemetery Drive, I stopped crying a while ago.  Since then we've just been sitting here, staring at nothing.  We haven't been talking, just staring into the distance. 

  "Do you really think it'll happen?" Gerard asked, breaking the silence.

  I looked up at him for a moment, slightly confused.

  "Do you think Andy is going to kill me?" He asked.

  I just sighed and looked at the ground.  

  "I really hope not, but we never know what might happen.  I'll fight like hell to keep us all alive.  But we don't know how strong Andy truly is.  He could've gotten stronger in the last two years, when your family fought his family.  For all we know, all of us could die." I answered.

  Gerard didn't say anything, instead he sighed.  He started standing up.  

  "Where are you going?" I asked.

  He turned around and held out his hand for me.

  "I wanna show you something." He said.

  I grabbed his hand and stood up from where I was sitting.  Gerard kept a hold of my hand and guided me around the cemetery.  We stopped in front of a grave.

  'Elena Lee Rush' 

  "Elena...? Your grandmother?" I asked.

  He stayed quiet, tears forming in his eyes.

  "When my brother and I found out about the Biersack's being vampires, they threatened us.  Said if we told anyone they'd kill someone dear to us.  Us being stupid and fucking terrified, we told our parents.  About a week later my grandmother Elena was found dead in her home.  A gash in her neck, surrounded by blood.  One of them killed her.  That's one of my motives for this fight." He began to explain.

  I just looked at him shocked.

  "They couldn't identify who killed her.  So they left the case open.  One of my motives for killing Andy is my grandmother.  The other is to protect you guys.  I'm not letting him kill the rest of my family." He said.

  "Elena must've been really important to you." Is all I could say.

  "That's an understatement.  She supported Mikey and I's dreams.  She was practically my idol.  I always told her if I ever had a kid I would name them after her in some way." Gerard chuckled a little at the last sentence.

  "Aw how precious..." A familiar voice called from behind us.

  Gerard and I both turned around at lightning speed.

  "Andy..." Gerard sneered.

  "So you're planning to fight us?  Is that correct?" He asked leaning against a tree.

  "That's right." I answered bravely.

  "Hmmm...sounds interesting.  I'll play along.  When are we doing this?" He asked.

  "Meet us where it all started tomorrow.  Bring the others, and bring Luna." Gerard demanded.

  "Alright, see you later Way.  You too Iero." Andy accepted, speeding out of the cemetery and away from us.

  "We need to let the others know what's gonna happen.  It's time we end them" I said.

  Gerard nodded and began speeding back to the house, me following closely behind.  We rushed through the door, quickly alerting everybody.

  "Are you guys okay?" Ray asked.

  "Yes but, we need to tell you all something." Gerard announced.

  All of them got quiet and looked at us to tell us they were listening.

  "We ran into Andy, we're fighting them tomorrow in Cemetery Drive." Gerard informed everybody.

  Everyone's faces went from curiosity to determination.  I could see a little bit of fear among the room too.  

  "You mean all of this is ending tomorrow?" Mikey asked.

  "Yes hopefully." I said.

  All of this is ending sooner than we expected.  But I think we're ready.  I'll protect my family at all costs.  I will make sure Andy doesn't get away.  I'm not gonna leave any of them alive.

  "We should probably leave New Jersey after Andy dies, if we manage to kill him." Frank said.

  "What, why?" Mikey asked.

  "Once word gets to Andy's family that he was killed, they'll come after us.  They know you and I would be the only ones to have the motive to go after them.  Once they find out we need to leave.  We may be powerful vampires but we won't be able to take down the Biersack's.  They'll kill us within minutes." Gerard explained.

  "What if we don't kill Andy in this fight?" Bob asked.

  "I'm not letting him live.  He'll die before any of us.  We need to get rid of him or he won't go away.  We kill him, then we hurry and get the hell out of New Jersey." I said.

  "Where are we going?" Ray asked.

  "How about California?  Start that music career like Emily suggested." Frank suggested.

  "Alright then, we're getting out of New Jersey and going to California once this fight is over and Andy is dead." Gerard said.

  This feud is coming to an end, and it's ending soon.
