Chapter Nine

After the hug, Delaney opened up to Jimin. Slowly but surely, but she did. She would use his shoulder for a pillow when they traveled, she would sit with him till the dead of night to watch TV with him-

Eden watched from the sidelines, happy that her sister had finally opened up to someone. But Delaney wasn't the only one that got shown this affection by Jimin, Eden had been shown the same brotherly love.

Show after show, hidden away from the rest of the sweaty boys that Delaney wasn't too sure of just yet, she'd hug Jimin and congratulate him. But soon, she started warming up to a few of the other boys, but no one as much as she had Jimin.

She woke up crying silently one night, hand covering her mouth to muffle any sounds that might've escaped. For that night, she didn't get as much sleep as she had hoped to get, and distanced herself from everybody except Eden once more. Jimin noticed the mood change, as did the rest of the boys but they decided that he would be the best to comfort her if she would let him.

"Hey, what's up?" He asked backstage, they had all arrived at the venue too early so they didn't have to worry about rehersal or the actual show just yet.

"Nothing..." She muttered quietly, eyes glued to the ground. She was determined to not focus on the male that she thought she could trust with all her heart stood in front of her.

"Liar." He sighed softly and gently brought her into a hug and that's when he felt her hands fist his shirt and she started crying. "What's wrong?"

"Y-You're going to throw us back on the streets..." She whimpered, tears rolling down her cheeks like a waterfall. Jimin froze at the comment. "We're just a burden and you all think that-"

"No no." He whispered softly, pulling her against him tighter. "Neither of you are a burden, what makes you think that you are and what makes you think we would throw you out?"

"I-..." She didn't have a reply. "I saw it in a nightmare."

"Oh Del..." He stroked her hair to comfort her. "It was just a nightmare, I promise you, we won't throw you to the streets, and I promise you that you're a delight to have around. You and your sister are."

"R-Really?" She looked up at him, her eyes shining with tears. Jimin nodded, smiling softly at her. She hugged him tight at this. "P-Please don't leave us..."

"I won't, none of us will. You and Eden are both the little sisters we needed to keep us balanced." He smiled softly. "Jungkook gets to be a big brother to someone since we're all older, and both Jin and him have someone who acts childish with them, yet you and Eden both have the maturity that allows you to get on with Namjoon and Yoongi when we need to be serious. I think that's why our manager allowed you to meet us."

Delaney sniffled. "Thank you..."
