It had been weeks since the boys had found the number, but not learnt who's number it was. In that time Delaney had gone on several dates with Min-Seo in the meantime. Both girls growing closer and closer to one another. Two nights ago they had shared their first kiss in the cover of a dark alleyway so no-one would see.
Delaney smiled walking out the BigHit building with the boys, humming quietly to herself. Her muscles ached with exhaustion. "Dee!" She heard someone sob, and only one person she knew called her by that nickname. She turned abruptly as she saw the girl leaning against the wall. Her cheeks stained with tears and the boys turned with furrowed brows.
"Are you okay?" Jimin asked.
"She's a friend of mine." Delaney lied. "I'll check up on her and make sure she's okay. You guys go on ahead." The boys looked at one another before nodding and walking to the car.
"Just give us a call if you need us." Namjoon smiled softly, causing Delaney to nod before walking up to Min-Seo who looked completely broken. Delaney didn't hesitate to wrap her arms around the girl, even if the boys were watching.
"What's wrong?" Delaney asked softly.
"I-I..." She broke out into sobs in Delaney's arms once more and she sighed softly.
"You don't have to talk about it right now. How about we walk to the cafe?" Min-Seo just nodded and the girls broke from their embrace before walking in silence side-by-side down the street. Once they were seated, the cafe practically empty due to the late hour, Delaney reached across and took one of Min-Seo's hands in hers.
"My parents..." Min-Seo took a deep breath. "They found out about... us. They gave me the option to never see you again or leave the house and never come back."
"Min-Seo..." Delaney whispered softly, frowning lightly. As much as her heart ached to think it, she hoped that the girl had chosen to simply never see her again-
"I chose you." Min-Seo croaked gently. "I chose you over my own family. They clearly didn't love me if they wouldn't accept me. I know... I know you at least care for me if you don't love me. That's automatically better than my parents straight away."
Delaney's eyes widened at this. "What?"
"I chose you. It will always be you." Min-Seo lifted her head, her puffy eyes meeting Delaney's. Before Min-Seo could say anything else, Delaney had lifted her hands and kissed the back of both of them with a soft smile.
"I'll always choose you too." She heard the gasp from the woman who owned the cafe. "And you avoided saying that I love you, didn't you?"
Min-Seo nodded.
"Well you don't have to, because I love you." Delaney smiled softly, and this time it was Min-Seo's turn to widen her eyes.
"R-Really?"
"Really." She grinned. "We're about to head on tour, do you have a passport?"
"I grabbed everything I could, it's in my bag." Min-Seo furrowed her brows. "Why?"
"Come with me. Join us on tour." Delaney grinned, standing up and offering a hand out to Min-Seo.
"I-I don't have the money."
"That doesn't matter. Come with me." Delaney smiled kindly at the girl and the girl gently reached out and took Delaney's hand.
