It had been a few years since she had found someone who had taken her and Eden in and she was happy.
She never spent a cold night on the streets, she always had food when she needed it - she had warm baths, showers, clothes and seven new bigger and older brothers whom she had bonded with after a short while.
She played piano in her spare time with Yoongi, and she had even helped with the choreographing of the songs. Where Eden sometimes sat in one of the boys studios and helped produce the music. Delaney smiled softly, humming to herself as she walked alongside Eden.
Eden, despite only being a few years younger than Delaney - had literally became a 'mini me' as Delaney liked to call her which only made Eden blush.
"Why wouldn't I want to be like you?" Eden had replied one day. "You're the best person I know. You're always so kind, and sweet. You're like a mother, even to the boys who are older than us- You're an amazing dancer and-"
This had made Delaney blush and land a gentle punch on Eden's upper arm.
Delaney danced away in the practice room, her short hair moving with even her smallest yet sharp movements. Her tank top, which Hoseok had forced her to wear a vest top underneath so she wasn't going to 'show too much', moving and her dance pants that she practically wore all the time just for their comfort allowing her to move freely.
Once she finished, she walked out the practice room - a towel wrapped around her neck and she walked outside the building to get some fresh air. She downed the bottle of water and sighed in content. She lent against the wall - a few of the girls who regularly passed by the company building to try and see the boys, stared her down. She enjoyed the gentle summers breeze, the cool air nice on the back of her sweating neck.
She closed her eyes in relaxation. She had been dancing since the early morning, and she had only stopped for a toilet break and to eat breakfast so she knew that her muscles would be sore by this evening.
She readied herself to go back inside - knowing the boys would be turning up soon and she stepped away from the wall, colliding with someone. Due to her instincts, of the boys mainly being bullies and scaring her occasionally, she quickly reached out and grabbed the person.
"I am so sorry-" Delaney started before she realised how close this person was to her. She gulped lightly, her eyes widening as she saw the female in her arms. "I should've been looking at where I was going."
"It's my own fault." She spoke quietly and Delaney's ears were in bliss. "I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault." Delaney stood her up straight, and observed the female brush out her clothes.
"It's not yours either then." The female grinned softly, and Delaney swore she could've died happily right there and then. "What's your name?"
"Delaney." She spoke softly, completely gobsmacked by the beauty of the woman stood in front of her.
"I'm Min-Seo." The female bowed with a soft smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
"It's a pleasure to meet you too..." Delaney whispered. She saw Namjoon wave at her from inside and she sighed softly. "I have to head back in now- I'm sorry once more for knocking you over."
"It's fine, because you caught me anyway." Min-Seo hummed softly. Her eyes drifting to Hosoek. "See you around Delaney." She grinned, quickly walking past her and brushing her hand against hers and Delaney's heart flew out her chest.
She grinned softly, watching until Min-Seo blended into the crowd further up and she turned towards the building and headed inside.
