Yoongi was walking about backstage when he heard muffled sobs come from the cleaners closet and he paused outside, furrowing his eyebrows. He didn't need to be on for another twenty minutes, so he knew he had time to pause and query the crying coming from such a strange place. He knocked gently, before opening the door, and to his surprise finding Min-Seo sat with her knees to her chest, sobbing into her hands.
"Min-Seo?" Yoongi's eyebrows remained furrowed. He felt nauseated by the smell of the cleaning products and he was simply in the doorway, he wondered how Min-Seo was coping with it being deeper into the closet and being in here for who knows how long.
"Shut the door." She croaked, her voice hoarse and broken. "Please..." Yoongi took a deep breath before stepping into the closet. He sat down on the cold concrete in front of her.
"What's wrong?" He asked softly, his heart aching for the younger girl sat in front of her, acting as if her heart was ripped out from her and torn into pieces. He had to admit, he had warmed up to Min-Seo since Delaney had introduced her to them, she gave good advice, and she also helped out when any of the other boys had been down. She didn't mind the constant presence of the cameras around her, he had noticed she was camera shy, but didn't mind it when the boys or Delaney were around.
"I-I argued with Delaney." She whimpered, and Yoongi took a deep breath in, coughing slightly due to the smell of the chemicals, and frowned slightly. "I-I was worried that everyone here would hate her because of her choice to be with me romantically. My parent's disowned me straight away when they realised I was dating Dee. I didn't want that to happen to her."
"Oh..." Yoongi frowned. He could see the faults in Min-Seo's argument, but at the same time, he could see her consideration. "What happened?"
"I... I said something I didn't mean to. I hurt her." She cried out, another wave of sobs leaving her. "I-I just didn't want her to not have a family again, she has the eyes of all the staff, you guys, the public, and fans-"
"First of all, we don't care if she's dating a man or a woman, as long as she's happy." Yoongi pulled up a soft smile onto his lips. "The staff? They're not as accepting, but at the end of the day if they don't want to be around the either of you because of your relationship status, they don't have to be. They can't wish for her or you to be gone because they aren't in charge. Our company is in charge, and we spoke to them and they're happy for you two to be beside us." Min-Seo lifted her teary eyes, and Yoongi could barely see them in the depth of the closet.
"R-Really?"
"Yes, and third of all, the fans actually adore you guys." He grinned. "Namjoon translated a few of their tweets for us to read, and they're really supportive of you both. Look." He took out his phone and loaded up the twitter app and handed it to her. Her eyes widened the more and more she scrolled down.
"They love us?" Her voice sounded weak now, and full of regret. She had gone to Delaney, ready to break up so Delaney could still keep her family, yet so many people supported their relationship?
"Yeah, they have for a while. Even before people knew you two were dating."
"I need to apologise-"
Min-Seo launched herself out of the cleaners closet and into the hallway, Yoongi following and gulping down the cleaner air into his system. She looked about frantically before taking off in one direction and Yoongi followed.
Along the way they picked up the rest of the boys whilst searching for Delaney. Once they had searched the entire backstage of the venue, the boys had only a handful of minutes before they had to be on stage.
"Min-Seo, you stay in the changing rooms until after the concert." Seokjin smiled, resting a hand on her shoulder. "We'll all go and find her once we've finished okay?"
Min-Seo nodded weakly, her heart aching at the loss of Delaney.
"Text her a few times, see if she responds." Jungkook smiled.
"We'll help you. Keep strong." Hoseok grinned, ruffling her hair before some of the staff lead them away. Min-Seo trudged back to the dressing room with a heavy heart, unlocking her phone as she stared down at the home screen of the phone, a small smile tugging at her face at the picture she had taken of Delaney when she wasn't looking. She pulled up the contact number and sighed softly.
If only she hadn't been so worried, this wouldn't ever of happened, and she wouldn't have left Delaney to get herself lost.
'Where are you? Please come back soon, we're worried.' Min-Seo texted Delaney, flopping onto the sofa in the changing room with a sigh.
Please message me soon Dee, I love you.
She thought, closing her eyes and holding her phone close to her heart.
