Chapter Ten-
Say No To Alcohol
The dinner for work was quiet boring; the boys were on their best behaviours and I think they felt a touch awkward. After we all headed over to a club in town, the place was crazy, it just had this vibe about it that made you want to drink and dance even more than other places. The thing was, we got so drunk we had to be kicked out, and apparently we were embarrassing ourselves and were a nuisance... Yeah right.
Randy met up with some guy he knew from ages ago and went back to his place to catch up, we all found it a bit suspicious. Jackson and Ian both found some girls to go back to some hotel with while Chase and Alex were left flying solo.
We caught a cab together back to my place at one-ish, only for the guys to start drinking again.
"It is too early to stop drinking," Alex said sadly.
Ever since the last kiss he has been down but I had been trying so hard to make him happy. The guys kept asking what was wrong but he just ignored them then put a smile on his face.
"Seriously, Alex, if you don't lighten the hell up I am going to kick your face in. I have no idea why you are suddenly so upset but it is ruining everyone's mood and we are all sick of it. We have hardly any time left and if you don't enjoy these moments you are going to regret it," Chase demanded which would of sounded threatening but he was so hammered that he kept stumbling with his words.
Alex looked at me for some reason but I just said, "Yeah, nobody likes a sour puss," making Chase crack up laughing so hard he was lying on the floor, which, in turn, made me laugh too. "Stop it, I am going to pee myself," I giggled. Alex joined in and soon we were all in hysterics.
"I am sorry," Alex said smiling once we all calmed down a bit.
Chase eventually went to my room and declared my bed his for the night and left Alex and I alone with an awkward silence looming.
"I so shouldn't of told you about Chase liking you, I feel so bad," Alex said with my hand in his, sitting on the floor.
"Why do you feel bad? I feel thankful about it. I was thinking," I started, "maybe I should have a talk with him and tell him that I know he likes me but I don't like him in that way and he should move on."
"Do whatever, I am over it. I just want us all to be happy but there is no way for that to happen."
"Don't be so negative, Ally," I giggled.
"Ally? That sounds like a female name," he said, pretending to be angry, "I will get you for that."
Alex closed in the small distance and started to tickle me. It was painful as I wriggled around trying to get away from his hands but he was stronger than me and had me at his mercy.
"I will stop as long as you promise not to call me Ally ever again," he said menacingly, slowing his hands down.
"Ok, Ally," I said but regretted it straight after. "Ok, Alex, I won't call you it ever again, if can be a distant memory."
"You better not," he said while leaning over my body that was lying down, his hands completing stopping to rest on my stomach.
I looked up at him with sad eyes, I know what I wanted to do but I know that we couldn't.
"Please don't look at me like that, I can't help it," he said looking at me the way I was to him.
"I know, I am going to talk to him and then we can try to be together," I said hopefully. "I really do like you."
