Chapter Two:

A Call from Your Idol.

I answered a call from Alex the next day, he requested that we all meet up before he left town.  I was so excited I called Logan straight away; he was excited too but not as much as me. I got ready for lunch dressing in a dress and got my dad to drop Logan and I at the place where Alex told us to meet. Out the diner I saw all the boys waiting for us, I had to grab hold of Logan’s hand to keep me from running to meet them!

You know these things happen in movies and books but you would never expect to meet your favourite band. The whole thing was surreal! We spent a few hours laughing and joking before they invited us to see where they are staying at the moment, a giant hotel that I had always dreamed about staying in. After more fun we had to go as it was getting late and I still wanted to spend some time with Logan.

We said goodbye, we had really become good friends for no reason. I asked them why they wanted to meet up with us and they said they were bored and we seemed like some good fun, which turned out to be true!

They then moved onto the next town for their tour, thinking that would be the end of our friendship but it wasn’t. We became quite close as time grew and soon, even though Logan and I never saw them after that meeting, we were like best friends. We kept in contact with Skype calls and emails, me becoming closest with Alex and Logan closest with Chase as they were most alike, same as Alex and me but at the same time we were all super close. Logan never told anyone we knew Single Caffeine in person, and neither did I… It isn’t like they would believe us any way.

Five years later (Logan and Cassie are 22)

I woke up from the bed being tipped, opening my eyes I saw my boyfriend with only boxes on walk out of the bedroom of my small apartment.  My boyfriend, Nick Peirce, and I had only been dating for two months or so… I don’t really keep count. He is such a sweet guy and he is studying at university to become an architect.

I had finished university and I am currently a journalist working weekdays at the local newspaper. I mostly do small things, I don’t write front page things, mostly just pieces to do with the community, nothing major.

I slipped off my shorts and changed into a pair of longer pants since it was a bit cold then followed Nick out of the room to see him preparing breakfast.

“Morning,” I said sweetly as I wrapped my arms around him.

“Hey, Babe, how did you sleep?” he questioned me as he turned on the coffee machine to make us one each.

“Alright… I am glad you stayed the night,” I say. He didn’t live here, he only comes over often but only usually sleeps here about twice a week, and we are both so busy all the time that is why.

“Yeah, me too. Why don’t you go have a shower and get ready for the day and I will make us some breakfast, okay?” he asked kindly.

“Why? Do I have morning breath,” I joke with him, Nick responding by giving me a long kiss.

“Tastes just as good as always,” he said and released me so I could leave the room. As I was walking away he didn’t miss the opportunity to slap my ass. I turn around and he gives me a wink which receives a laugh from me, you just can’t be mad at him.

Considering it was Saturday I think I should go shopping later today so I chose clothes appropriate for public.  Once I was out of the shower the smell of food was too good to stand. I walk out to see pancake stacks on the breakfast counter for two.

“Got any plans for today babe?” Nick asks me as we ate.

“Grocery shopping, do you wanna come?”

“I would love to but I have to go work on my assignment.”

“Ok,” I say not really bothered by it too much. “But will you have time to come over tonight.”

“Of course,” he says smiling at me and kissing me then doing the dishes.

The day flew by and I started to cook a soup while waiting for Nick to come over for the night when the phone started ringing.

Recently I have had heaps of people reading this story! I hope I get some more soon! Thank you all and can you please comment so I know what you like about this story! 

Today I noticed that one minute it is "said, asked" then the next it is "say, asks"... so I decided to change the tense to all the same! I havent done it to this chapter cause I have to clean my room after this but soon I will fix all this up!
