One of my friends said it was because sans tells grillby jokes all the time and goes to grillby's a lot but... like... nooooo...?
Sans tells jokes to EVERYBODY no matter who they are
And Sans goes to grillby's a lot for ketchup/food, besides it's the only food joint in Snowdin, everybody to lazy to cook would go there!
It's a lot like Soriel
But
I'm Soriel, Sans actively walks to the door, straying away from his post, and spending time with Toriel telling jokes through the door to each other and bonding. Hell, at the pacifist ending, Toriel immediately recognized Sans from his voice, and they have an adorable bonding moment.
I'm not saying "PRECH THE SORIEL OH CHIRST ALL MIGHTY EVERY OTHER SHIP IS WRONG!" (Like I used to with a *cough* CERTAIN OTHER SHIP WITH FANS WORSE THEN FRANS) but I'm just saying, Sansby makes no since to me.
