Here a new chapter of 'Sleeping Jay.' Also, just to let you know, Wu and Garmadon are old men now, like in the show. Enjoy the chapter and comment on it. 😊😉

Soon Jay and Cole were back at the palace, safe and sound. As he promised, Cole took Jay to see Wu, who would explain everything.

Soon both boys were in front of Wu's room. Cole knocked on the door and it was immediately opened by Wu.

"Master Wu, I need to talk to you." Jay said. Wu let both boys into his room and sat on his bed, ready to see what Jay wanted to talk about.

"Wu, what are you and my parents keeping from me?" Jay asked, in a voice that sounded calm and nervous.

Wu gave Cole a dirty look. Cole just shrugged. Wu sighed and looked back at Jay.

"It's a long story Jay, and it all started when you were." Wu said. "Your parents were celebrating your birth, but then Nadakhan the djinn ruined it for them. He wasn't invited to your christening, so he was angry at your parents, and he took it out on you."

Wu stopped to let it all sink in, and to get a sip of his tea. Jay looked like he was going to faint. He gathered enough courage to ask "What did he do?"

"He casted a spell on you." Wu continued. "He casted a spell, so that on your eighteenth birthday, you would die."

Jay's eyes grew twice in size and he said "That's why my parents always make such a big deal about protecting me." Cole wrapped his arm around Jay, comforting his best friend.

"But," Wu said catching Jay and Cole's attention. "I changed the death spell into a sleeping spell." Wu said and sipped his tea again.

"But to make sure you were protected, I stayed behind to watch you, and to make sure Nadakhan never got near you again." Wu finished, looking at Jay with sad eyes.

"Jay, all we wanted to do was protect you, we never wanted to lie to you." Wu said and put a hand on Jay's shoulder.

"Then why not tell me about it? Why keep the secret from me?" Jay asked, sounding very upset.

"Your parents wanted you to have a normal childhood, well normal for a prince. They feared that telling you would cause you to worry and be scared for the rest of your life." Wu explained.

Jay was quiet for a moment before saying, "I need to be alone." He quickly ran out of the room.

Wu looked at Cole, his arms crossed, and his eyes mad. Cole gulped, he knew he was in trouble now.

"So, what happens now?" Cole asked, no looking Wu in the eyes.

Wu's look softened. "We keep Jay safe until after sunset tomorrow Cole, and he can't leave the castle." Wu said. Cole sighed and looked at Wu.

Cole frowned. Jay was suppose to met that girl tomorrow, and he wouldn't be able to see her. All because of an evil djinn that had a grudge against his parents.

"Now let's talk about how you told the prince about this." Wu said. Cole was now in for it now, this wasn't going to be a fun conversation.
