In this chapter, we finally get to see Lloyd and Zane. Hope that you all like this chapter, I worked really hard on it. Enjoy the chapter and please comment.

Once the sun was up the next day, Wu was immediately watching Jay. He knew that if he could make it though today, then the curse could never happen. He also knew that Nadakhan would try anything to make sure that the spell happened, so he called in a favor.

Soon, two guest arrived at the palace. Wu's nephew, Lloyd, and the next master of ice, Zane. They had all been asked to watch over Jay until the day was over. They knew everything that was going on and knew not to let him out of their sight. Cole was also involved, never leaving Jay's side. All they had to do was wait until sundown.

Soon the day was almost over and nothing had happened yet. Everyone was on edge, waiting for Nadakhan to make his move. But still nothing happened.

The boys were all in Jay's room, keeping watch over him, while talking.

"Why hasn't Nadakhan struck yet?" Cole asked, growing impatient.

"He may be waiting for the right time to strike." Zane suggest.

"That, or he decided to not go through with this." Lloyd suggested.  Cole and Zane looked at him for a moment and he thought about what he said. "Yay, that's probably not likely."

Cole noticed that Jay was being quiet, which was unlike him. Cole knew his best friend was upset that he couldn't meet that girl, but they just couldn't risk it. He hoped Jay understood why they had to do this.

"Jay, you okay?" Cole asked. Zane and Lloyd stopped talking and turned to the prince.

Jay said nothing in return. He was to sad. He wanted to see Nya again, but it wasn't likely she'd want to meet him again after tonight.

"Can you guys leave to room for a few minutes?" Cole asked Lloyd and Zane. They nodded and left the room.

"Jay, I know you're upset," Cole said, taking a seat next to his best friend on the bed. "But it's for your own good. If you go out there, Nadakhan would most likely either kill you, put another curse on you, or kidnap you. We just want to protect you because you mean a lot to us. Just understand that."

Jay looked at Cole and said "I know you guys want to protect me, but I really wanted to have something with Nya. There was something special about her."

Cole put a hand on Jay's back. "I'll let you be alone for a few minutes." Cole said looking out the window. 'It's only for, like, five minutes, what could happen?' He thought to himself.

Cole left the room, leaving Jay alone. Jay walked to his desk and began to cry. He would never see Nya again. He really wanted to see her, but he couldn't. No matter how much he wanted to.

Just as Jay was about to go to the hall with the others, he heard something. It sounded like someone whispering something. Jay couldn't stop himself from listen to the voice.

"Come to me." The voice whispered. Jay did as he was told and walked over to the fireplace in his room. The fireplace suddenly turned into a hidden passage and Jay continued into it.

Cole came to the others and heard another voice. He saw a young man with spiky hair talking to Lloyd and Zane. He instantly recognized him as Prince Kai of Ignacia.

"Hello." Kai said once he noticed Cole.

"Hello, your majesty." Cole said and bowed to him.

"There's no need for that, and please no 'majesty', call me Kai." Kai said and Cole stopped bowing.

Zane noticed that Jay was not with Cole. "Cole, where is Jay?" He asked.

"I gave him a moment to himself, he was really upset he couldn't see that girl." Cole answered.

They all suddenly heard weird sounds coming from Jay's room. All looked at each other, knowing what was happening.

"Nadakhan!" They all shouted, even Kai, who knew ever about the situation.

They all ran into Jay's room, only to see him walking into a secret passage in the fireplace.

"JAY! NO!" Cole shouted, hoping that Jay would suddenly stop, but he didn't. He walked into the fire place and the entrance closed.

Jay wasn't sure what he was doing, but couldn't stop himself. It was like he was under some sort of spell. A orange light appeared in from of him and he followed it. It lead though the passage and up a spiral staircase. From what Jay could tell, it looked like he was headed for one of the tallest towers in the palace.

The others were panicking. Nadakhan just made his move and they didn't even see it coming. They tried to find a button for the passage but were unsuccessful. Then Lloyd had had enough.

"That's it!" He yelled. He blasted energy at the fireplace and the entrance opened up.

They all ran in and followed the passage. Each one called for Jay, but he appeared to have been further than they expected. They soon reached a spiral staircases. They could see a door at the top with light coming out of it.

Jay finally reach the top of the staircase and saw a door. He opened the door and saw a an empty room. The only thing in the room was a spinning-wheel. Jay had never seen one before.

The others were climbing that spiral staircase as fast as they could, but it seemed to go on forever. Just as they neared the top, Cole yelled out "Jay! Don't touch anything!"

Jay stopped. He heard Cole yell his name he took a few steps back, but then stopped. He heard the voice again, only this time, it wasn't whispering. In fact, it was full on yelling.

"Touch the spindle! Touch it I say!!" The voice said. Jay tried to resist, but it was like his arm had a mind of its own. He closed his eyes and braced himself.

The others finally reached the top of the stairs, and tried to open the door, but it was locked. Cole then kicked down the door and they all rushed in. They all gasped when they didn't see Jay, but instead Nadakhan himself.

"You fools. You all thought you could beat me. Me, the master of all evil! Well here's your precious prince!" Nadakhan yelled the showed Jay's body.

Nadakhan laughed evilly then teleported away. The others quickly went to Jay to make sure he was just asleep. They were glad when they saw he was breathing normally, but then Cole started crying.

"This is all my fault, I shouldn't have left him alone." He said with tears running down his cheeks.

"No Cole, we're all to blame." Lloyd said, with tears in his eyes also. "Nadakhan has won."
