We stood at the same building. Playing the same speaker as last time, Alexander seems to be a big fan of the Queens and old Pop songs, We didn't participate in direct combat as we were in charge of the speakers. From time to time enemy snipers would shoot at us.
As usual, I stood on top observing the combat. Today is the day Queen attempts to take the Radio Tower of the enemy.
"Can I have another Inhaler TNT?" I asked her as she looks onto her scoped Kalakov.
She took her eyes off the scope and passed me a cigarette and said "Look, This is the last one. These things aren't cheap your gonna have to buy or loot some yourself."
"Sure," I replied and light up another fag.
To be honest the true lifesaver in this war is your Poncho Liner, Tea, Clean socks and Cigarettes. Honestly, these things are keeping me alive. I haven't received any letters from Mama. I guess she is still pissed from what I did a few months ago.
"Look! It is the Shock troops!!" Poet shouts to us. She points to the ruins ahead, I peered on my binoculars and I saw Victorina and her troops ready to strike.
Out of all the NUAF they have really good gear, Their vests are brand new. And they have stick grenades strapped on their belts. Notably, their vests only protected their upper torso and the helmets looked very different. They had lots of drawings on it. But one symbol was constant for the Shock Troops it was a cloud with a single lighting bolt forming the number 7.
They were the 7th Shock Troops. And this is the first them I saw them in combat. They are experts in fighting in close range.
Then Victorina came to our view, She looked at us and turned her radio on.
"Cover our movement. It's time to fucking rock Over!," She said.
"Shock Troops this is 33rd we hear you loud and clear over!" Quack replied on the radio.
I pressed play on the speakers. Apparently, Victorina really loves Rap more than Queens despite being codenamed after them ironically. Apparently, she liked XXXtentacion and $uicideboy$. This particular song was 'Yung Bratz'
The bass of the song spooked the birds in the city, They quickly donned their helmets they waited for the verse to come in and started to throw smoke grenades at every open street to mask their movement. The enemy didn't notice since the streets were a haze of gunfire and dust. The song was particularly offensive and heretic to the ears of the VAF.
And once the first verse of the song was out I saw stick grenades flying at the enemy bunkers around the tower!
"Damn look at that!" I said in amusement, I was worried and I hoped that they would make it out alive.
They were so aggressive! They were getting as close as possible, I can see them spraying them down with their Carbines! They weren't even aiming at all since their bullets were guaranteed to hit any poor fucker at such close proximity.
An enemy runs to cover, He hides behind a wall of cement and reloads his rifle. He was in clear sight of all of us.
"Hold on I got this," I said, I stood up and took aim with my AK74. As much as I love this rifle this thing has terrible sights for long range shooting but the ballistics of the bullet is amazing. To compensate I fired in single bursts.
None of my bullets hit the guy, He noticed that he was getting hit at and quickly runs off in a panic. But as he leaves he quickly gets cut down by the short barreled carbines of the Shock Troops.
"Damn count that as an assist," Poet said nonchalantly. Watching the enemy on her scope.
From the haze of smoke, I saw one of the Shock troops storm the radio tower. From the cloud of smoke, their blue uniform was all I see as they got inside.
