it's hard to believe that yesterday and going to Asgard even happened, it was indescribable and the best birthday present I've ever received, even my encounter with Loki made the day even more unbelievable, it made no sense at all.
Last night when Thor and I came back everyone was already asleep so I haven't had the chance to talk about it with them but I have to majorly thank Clint today when I see him. Today is Thursday which means it is my birthday and I was feeling happier than ever "what should I do" I whisper to myself,
there was so much I could get up to today but after yesterdays day out, I think it would be nice to stay in and watch films, however, I was contemplating on going out tonight with all of the Avengers so let's see where the day takes us. There was so much opportunity that I couldn't afford to waste
I got up and ran down the hallway to Steve's room, once I was there I ran into the dark room and jumped onto his bed, landing on my knees in front of him "it's my birthday baby!" I shout excitedly, if me jumping on him didn't wake him up then the yelling definitely did.
"Happy birthday to the love of my life" Steve groggily cheered in his morning voice, I flopped down next to him only to be pulled into a tight hug with both of Steve's arms wrapped fully around me.
"we have to get up" I whined as much as I loved being held in his embrace
"Tony said that we don't have to get up till later because you wouldn't be up till then but it doesn't look like that" Steve laughed sweetly, I rolled over so I was facing him
"nope so we have to go get Wanda and Pietro up" I laughed back pulling his arms to try and get him up and out of bed, It was like I turned into a toddler on my birthday. I don't think any of them have ever seen me this full of life.
"okay I'm up" We left Steve's room and began to walk up the spiral staircase to get to my sibling's rooms, it wasn't a long walk from either of our rooms thankfully. We went to Wanda's room first, it looked slightly similar to mine but one of the walls was a light red, I burst through the door and did exactly the same to Wanda as I had done to Steve a few minutes prior. "oh my god Ad" She laughed, I loved Wanda's laugh but it was a shame I didn't hear it often enough "I know it's your birthday woman" Wanda sassed me with a grin
"come on, let's go get Pietro then we can go downstairs," I say eagerly like a dog when their owner walks through the door, the three of us went next door to Pietro's room and repeated the exact same routine as before but this time the three of us joined in.
"you're never this excited Adeline" Pietro teased, he leaned in closer to me and began to whisper in my ear "are you excited because Cap gave you a special birthday present?" I pushed him down back into his pillows as Wanda and Steve laughed in the background.
The four of us, the three most important people in my life, walked downstairs to where everyone was surprisingly sitting already with cups of coffee and tea in their hands, I looked around and saw Peter was wearing his spider-man onesie that everyone loved to see him in "good morning bambinos" I greeted them at the top of the stairs, leaning against the railing
"we're still older than you" Bucky pointed up at me as, Steve, Wanda, Pietro and I walked down the stairs together
"bamboozled again" I pretended to be hurt over dramatically
"I'm going to go order food for our movie marathon, just a bunch of breakfast and lunch type foods should be good, right?" Clint asked, beginning to walk out of the room backwards, I didn't think he would be back in time for my birthday but he was. all of us agreed to breakfast and lunch foods to eat whilst we watched the movies and we already had a wide selection of drinks at the tower, so beverages were covered.
