Chapter 21 Part 1

"How did you know she was kidnapped if you didn't read the note?" Taehyung asked. All eyes were on Da Won. Tae may act like he's dumb sometimes, but this question really caught everyones attention.

"W-what are you talking about? I did read the note!" Da Won yelled in defense. "Eomma! Appa!"

Jhope looked at his parents and they were looking as confused as ever. Nobody blames them though, they don't know about the note.

"I thought she read it." Mickaela asked but Taehyung shook his head.

"I was up the whole time and she didn't touch the note. She only touched it when Jhope was looking for it. She found it next to you then she gave it to him." Taehyung explained to Mickaela, but Jhope had no idea what he was talking about.

"Tae thats stupid. I did read it." Da Won said again. She rolled her eyes at this accusation.

"Well let's just say she didn't read the note, then what does that mean?" Jimin asked everyone.

"It means." Jungkook started. "She knew about Mickaela's kidnapping before everyone else did.

"But the real question is." Jin said.

"When did she find out?" Rm finished.

"Okay! That's enough! Stop pointing fingers at me! You guys think that I knew about Mickaela's kidnapping before anyone else?" Everyone nodded their heads. "Well I didn't! It's not my fault Heather stole her!" Da Won flopped down on the couch and folded her arms.

Jhope felt so bad for Da Won. Everyone pointing fingers at her when maybe she didnt in fact know.

"Hey Da Won it's okay. We're sorry." Jhope said to her. He out of all people should apologize first, I mean he didn't even defend his only older sister.

Jhope looked over at Mickaela and her face looked horrified. "What's wrong Mickaela?" He asked her.

Everyone turned their attention onto her and her still horrified face. "H-how did she know what my mothers name was? I NEVER said it to anyone."

They all turned their heads from Mickaela to Da Won and her face matched the same as Mickaela's.

Horrified.

"How did you know my mothers name?" Mickaela asked.

"It wasn't in the note and M never told her fans her mothers name. She just address her as mom even if fans asked." Joonie added.

"Da Won! You will speak at once!" Jhope's appa said.

Da Won rolled her eyes and opened her mouth to speak. The next sentence she said completely shocked everyone in the room.

"It's true, I knew who you were before anyone else did." She admitted.

"What?" Mickaela stood up but Suga sat her back down. "How?"

"Years ago like before you were famous and stuff I went to America for my business that I just opened. Im pretty sure you were about 15 years old. It was like fate brought me to the place where you were living at, at the time."

"Keep going." Joonie said and Da Won gave her a dirty look.

"Anyways long story short I ended up seeing you and I knew it was you by the necklace and the birthmark but I just couldn't believe it. So one day I decided to see for myself so I came to your house but unfortunately you weren't there but Heather was. She opened the door and we ended up talking about that day she took you. The affects it had on my family and how much we were missing you. I was going to take you back with me but I stopped and realized you were 15 years old. Just to take you to Korea and introduce you to your actual family wouldnt have been the best idea."

"What do you mean?" Jhope asked.

"Making a 15 year old move to a different country and telling her that this is your real family." Da Won pointed around the room. "Would be scary."

"I agree." Mickaela said.

"But why didn't you tell any of us?" Jhope's mom asked.

"Because you guys wouldn't believe me and I-I just couldn't. It was too heartbreaking to even mention her name."

"Shes right." Mickaela said. "I would've thought she was crazy and went to go find my mother."

"It shouldn't matter now." Mickaela'z real mom spoke up. "What matters is Hae Won's here with us now. She's happy and healthy."

Mickaela smiled at Jhope's mom and then smiled at Da Won to show her she wasnt at all angry with her and that she understood her decision. Honestly anyone would've done the same exact thing.

"Oh my gosh! M! Listen to this!" Joonie said out loud, catching her off guard.

"What?"

"The rising popstar Mickaela H has reportedly been going MIA for the past week. How do we know you ask? Our inside people gathered information about an early kidnapping taken place in South Korea 17 years ago. The victim, Mickaela H." Joonie read out loud.

"Wait im so confus-

Rm said but Joonie interrupted him.

"Hold on im not done." She cleared her throat. "A member from BTS who goes by the name Jhope recently told news reporters he's found his long lost sister. If you weren't able to put the pieces together then we're here to do so. Mickaela H and Jhope are in fact brother and sister." Joonie finished.

Mickaela's eyes went wide and so did everyone else in the room.

"Okay what just happened." Jungkook asked.

"The power of the media." She mumbled. "Joonie when was that published?"

"Let me check real quick." She said. She started to scroll up on her phone until she stopped and squinted a little bit. "It was posted a few minutes ago."

"Minutes?" Taehyung asked. "Everyone's twitters are going to be blowing up. Our fans and Mickaela's fans will be coming together."

Mickaela nodded her head. "Is that a bad thing? Wouldnt it be good to be introduced to new fans?" She suggested.

Before anyone could answer Jhopes phone went off indicating he was getting a phone call. He sighed as he went to answer his call.

"Hello?" He said into the phone.

Silence.

"Yes, We'll be right there okay? Alright bye." Jhope hung up the phone and they all waited for his response.

"That was um our CEO on the phone and he wants us to come back to Seoul and talk with him." Jhope said. He looked over at the boys and gave them a small smile.

"When?" Jin asked.

"Now."

"Well you guys go while Hae Won and Joonie stay here. You can get them later." His mom suggested but Jhope shook his head.

"No eomma, he wants all of us including them two."

His mom nodded her head and looked at Mickaela. "You girls go with Jhope. Please come back as soon as you can."

Mickaela smiled at her and nodded her head. She got up from her seat and went to hug her real mom and dad. It seemed so good and it actually felt like comfortable to do so.

She didn't want to leave his moms house. She's too nervous to even talk to their CEO. What if he doesn't want Mickaela around?
