Chapter 17:Glad to be back

Ava's POV:

She looked at me uncertainly.
"That can wait" she said and I shook my head.
"It can't, Aunt. She was telling me things, I refused to believe them,I couldn't believe them.. And...... And....and..." I was still stuttering,trying to speak but was clouded by my fake emotions which Aunt Audrey believed was real as she hugged me and whispered to me. "Everything will be okay". She said it soothingly that I couldn't help but want to trust her. It was this gentle voice and character that made me to doubt that she was evil. Everything made sense now,all the evil materials I used to see in her bedroom and all the spells she used to cast. She practiced dark magic but I trusted her too much that I couldn't even question her.

" She said you had a son" I said,fear laced in my voice and tears slipping from my eyes. I wanted her to believe that I don't know anything.

The look on her face was that of terror,it was quickly replaced by an amused look. "Its true,but she killed him before I could even carry him" She said resentfully. If I didn't know anything,I'd be touched and feel sorry towards her and will resent Aunt Millie too. But I know better now.

"But you didn't tell me that you had a son" I said and she looked at me for a while as if she'd find why I'm asking her that.

"I never wanted to remember that,I want to forget about everything" she said.

"But she told me that you and Aunt Sonia were both missing,but you came back first and Aunt Sonia came with a boy of 5 years who was later found out to be your son" I said and Aunt Audrey looked alarmed. She looked at me unbelievably.

"Tell me everything she told you,every single bit" she said,sounding harsh. I know that she sounded harsh because she couldn't believe how much of her secrets that I know.
"She said" I began as I narrated everything except the messiah and destroyer part of it and my powers and making sure I used the appropriate words, so that she wouldn't think that I believed anything I was told. I also made sure not to drop any hint that I was plotting with Millie and Laura. I also didn't tell her that I was now close to Laura and I certainly didn't tell her about Freya's death.

She gasped and looked at me when I was done talking. "She told you all that" she whispered, I didn't know if it was a question or a statement,so I nodded my heard in affirmative and quickly said "I don't believe all that though,she just wants me to hate you,but she has failed,I Trust you so much,you are the only mother figure in my life" I said,trying to make her believe that I still trust her and didn't believe anything I just narrated.

She hugged me,and held me tightly in her embrace, as if I would run away or disappear. "She wanted to brainwash you" she whispered into my ear and I sniffed and nodded my head.

She suddenly pushed me away, as if she just remembered something. She glared at me evilly and the words she spoke came out harshly. "How did you leave the coven?".
Bloody cow!!!,how the hell do I answer that?.
"A warlock helped me" I didn't know how that came to my mind,but I just said it.
"Mmm,a warlock?,tell me,what was his name?" She asked, somewhat calmly and harshly.
"Vincent Giuseppe" I said and watched her reaction. Her face was void of any expression and she sighed and then smiled.
"I'm so happy and Glad to have you back home" she said and hugged me and I smiled mischievously. "Glad to be back too" I said. She wouldn't know what hit her. She wouldn't expect little Ava to go against her.
I don't trust Aunt Millie. But since she helped me gain back my powers, I'll try to trust her.
The hair pin on my hair is not the same one that Aunt Audrey gave me. That one is now with Aunt Millie. She gave me another hair pin which looked similar to the other one. I smiled because I now have my powers back.

"Yesterday,a kid from your school came to look for you,a boy. I told him that you travelled though" Aunt Audrey said and I broke from her embrace.
"Let me guess,Tall blonde guy with brown eyes" I said and Aunt Audrey nodded. "Exactly".
" okay,I'll be going back to school tomorrow " I said and She nodded in affirmative.
I went inside my room and after taking a bath and putting on a loose dress,I shouted that I'm going out and my Aunt shouted back that I should be back early and I hurried to Tim's house.
I wanted to go there solely because of the weapon. Aunt Millie told me that she felt the weapon from that house. If aunt Audrey finds out where the weapon is,Tim might die, not even might, he will die because Aunt Audrey will not spare the humans. She hates them. She will kill him.
I will end Aunt Audrey slowly, without her noticing and I'll make sure to end her son too!!!!.

End her son,huh?
It takes more than just mere words to end Emilio da Vinci, it takes a lot of actions.
But Ava,I'm really rooting for you,I wish you the best in your quest.
