chapter one

Laylas POV

i was outside watching the warrior wolves train,my friend Nate was one of them. Nate and I had been friends from day one, whenever I was crying or upset due to my dad or just hurting myself he would be there for me though he would also be scolding me for crying...

He was well built, I had always prayed to the moon goddess that he would be my future mate but that never happened. I smiled at him and he smiled back. I looked at the other warriors who were meant to be training instead they were goofing off and making funny faces.

My pack always tried to make me smile. Right now I was killed with laughter clutching my stomach because it was getting sore from all the laughing.

My dad had been busy the whole day in a meeting so i still hadn't seen him.

(Treasured pack) Beta Luka
While we were making Layla laugh, her dad mind linked me and told me he was coming out to the training area with another alpha. He told me to make sure everything was in order and that Layla was there . I looked at the girl in front of me....what did he have planned for this poor child now?

I stood rooted behind the sweet child I always seen as my own daughter, she was laughing and a tear escaped my eye and rolled down my cheek. Layla turned around to face me . When she seen the tear go down my cheek, she stopped laughing and instead wiped my stray tear away and she smiled at me "everything will be okay I promise" she whispered in my ear and kissed my cheek.

Layla's dads POV

As we were approaching the training area I could hear Layla's laugh along with that of my warrior wolves. But the laughing soon died down after I told my beta of my arrival. I walked ahead of alpha Xavier and as soon as Layla spotted me, she ran over but my beta caught her by the hand and held her back. She looked at him with a questioning look, however my beta did not look at her.

Layla as well as the rest of the warriors soon spotted alpha Xavier, Nate ran to put Layla behind him as to hide her from us mainly alpha Xavier.

Xavier POV

As we approached I could see her small figure, however her smile was so sweet and innocent, when the rest of the men spotted me one of them tried to hide her from me...

(Stupid boy) however when he touched her I felt anger boil inside of me . Then the rest of the warriors circled the girl.

Layla's dads POV

"Stand down, "I used my alpha command voice that they could not fight back and would have to obey . They moved aside but I could see that they were trying to fight my command. Layla stood there looking down. Nate was still holding her small hand in his . I just smiled at them , by now my whole pack had come to see what this was all about.

I turned around to face everyone "this is alpha Xavier from the treasured pack he has agreed to form a peace treaty with us."
With those words everyone cheered and clapped. My little Layla from behind me was jumping up and down smiling and giggling.

Nate still held her hand in a strong grip and my warriors watched her ready to pounce on anyone that wanted to harm her.
