As we walked back to the house Layla as always wasn't looking where she was going and walked straight into a hole and twisted her ankle.....
Layla and Xavier conversation
Xavier's -"what the hell Layla,why can't you look where you walk,"I growled at her.
Layla -"I....I...I didn't ask for my leg to get caught in the snake hole,"i rolled my eyes at him.
Xavier's - I couldn't help laughing at her. "What makes you think its a snake's hole???? What if its a big spiders hole."
Xavier's - as soon as those words left my mouth she bounced into my arms and clamped her small hands around my neck. I couldn't take this anymore I was laughing so much,"h....h...how did you manage to make that jump with a twisted ankle?" I was so killed and when she looked up at me her sulky face made it all the more funny that I almost dropped her.
Layla POV
"What are you laughing at? I could of gotten eaten by the big spider." Mxm this guy was gonna get it from me. "Since you think you so smart carry me back to my room."
Xavier POV
"You just chicken to go back down because of a spider. A werewolf afraid of a spider I've never heard of anything more hilarious in my life."
I was still laughing at Layla and she sulked on my arms." Y....y...you the best mate ever Layla do you know that?"
When I was done talking her eyes were so wide open, then I realised what I'd asked and just laughed" Layla you crazy!"
Layla POV
He carried me back to my bed, I couldn't help but think back to what he had said to me and I looked up at him. He looked at me and smiled that smile that makes my legs go all jelly like, luckily I was in his arms. I loved to be in his arms, and I was so close to him that I could feel his heart beating. I giggled when I heard it speed up, when I shifted closer into his chest.
Xavier POV
I loved the thought of Layla being so close to me, I felt more relaxed at the fact that no one could harm her not while I got her in my arms, not even the man eating spider.
When we got back to her room I checked how badly she had hurt her ankle and she told me about huge man eating spiders. She was to much, she made me laugh so much.
When she thought it was a snakes hole she didn't care but when it belonged to a spider all hell broke loose.
"Goodnight Layla stay safe, I'll check on you and your ankle later. Let's hope the spider isn't smelling you out for standing in its home."
She started calling my name and shouting at me I just ran back to my room laughing at her.
Layla POV
"That bully, mxm I'll get him back." With that in mind I went to sleep.
