chapter four

Xavier's Pov

I felt as if I belonged there, under her touch. I quickly withdrew my hands from her and breathed a long sigh.
What was happening and why was it happening???

I turned around after I was sure Layla was okay and she was just passed out. As I started to drive to my pack house I unintentionally kept turning back to see that Layla was okay. I had so much going on in my mind, so many questions and so many worries.

However my eyes wanted to meet hers again and my hands craved to feel her touch....

Xavier's pov

We had arrived at my pack house a few minutes ago and we were still in the car . She was still passed out and me I was trying to work my mind around all that happened today. My hands were still on the steering wheel...my knuckles were turning white with the grip I held it with.
I was watching Layla's sleeping form from my mirror, she looked so peacefully while she slept.

I mind linked with one of the servant wolves who came straight away. I told her to take the bags up to my room. Before she left with the bags I asked who all was awake in the house and with my bad luck it was everyone....just my luck.

So everyone was awake in the house I just found my mate and I brought her home with everyone thinking im bringing a servant girl home, ohhhh and she's passed out in the backseat of my car!!!

Laylas Pov
I was woken up by Xavier however it wasn't a rough kind of weakening he woke me in a hushed sweet tone which im sure made my eyes almost pop out of my head.

He lived in a mansion it was lovely.

As we walked towards the house my mind ventured elsewhere and I wasn't focusing on where I was walking. I felt so nervous, I even felt sick. All of a sudden I was jolted out of my thoughts when I hit into something hard in in front of me.

As I looked up I was met with forest green eyes again,  I took a step back opening and closing my mouth but nothing was coming out so I just looked down.

Xaviers Pov

I turned back when I could no longer hear Laylas footsteps behind me. When I turned I just got a glimpse that her mind was elsewhere before she walked straight into me, but now since shes so short she only hit into my chest I could see her face turn to that of a tomatoes color I wanted so bad to laugh but I didn't.

Laylas Pov

I had just walked into alpha Xavier "ahhhh really Layla."

I lifted my eyes to meet his again and his soft look changed he growled at me which made me flinch away in fear, he told me to get my head out of the clouds and watch where im walking. I didn't answer back, as he turned and continued to the house.

When we got inside my mouth fell open it was lovely you could tell they were wealth and not afraid to show it.

Xavier was talking to other people, probably members of the pack. I stood there so lost and yes very afraid.
Xaviers pack was huge and everyone looked intimidating and so serious.
