chapter five

Layla's Pov

When I looked back at him he was standing right in front of me, my heart started to raise and I began to tremble. He stalked  closer to me until his body was pressed against mine and I was now pinned to the wall. I tried to wriggle out of his hold but his strong body didn't even  budge the slightest. I looked up and was staring  straight into his forest green  eyes. Then he dropped his head to my neck the place he would mark when he claims me. This thought rushed to my head and I flung my hands up and tried pushing his chest away, but I failed yet again. My mate was to strong for me....

Xavier's Pov

I wanted to mark her so bad,I wanted other males to know that she was mine and only mine, but as I was about to claim my  little mate her hands flew up and started to push at my chest. She didn't want this, she didn't want me?

I pulled her hands off my chest,she let the phone fall to the floor but at this point I didn't care about the phone anymore,I just wanted  my little mate,I wanted to mark her....to claim her!

I held her little wrists,as I placed her shaky hands firmly above her head. She wouldn't  look at me and I was finding it hard to control my wolf. *He wanted to claim  her, wanted to mark his little mate.* Her breathing  was fast  and I could feel her heart pumping so fast against my chest. Her body was trembling, her eyes still glued  to the floor.

Layla's Pov

My mate Xavier was shirtless I just noticed that now,I couldn't look up and I couldn't  stop trembling  in his hold. My  wolf was also finding  it hard denying his wolf. But we couldn't  break so easily  for them.

Then I felt him shift and place both my hands in one of his, still holding them above my head,while his other hand  moved a strand of hair from my face. Then he lifted my head, with his hand under my chin. I shut my eyes I couldn't  look into his eyes because  I knew I'd go weak and give into my mate if I did.

Xavier's  Pov

I lifted her head so she would look me in the eye, I wanted to meet her blue eyes so bad.

"Open your eyes," I felt bad that I had used the alpha command voice on her. But I knew she would  have to do as she's told even if she didn't  want to. Finally  her eyes opened  and I was looking  into those  blue eyes of hers. She was the most gorgeous  thing that I'd ever laid my eyes on. Her eyes were glazed  over with tears, that made my heart hurt so bad, her eyes also showed fear, she feared me!

I just looked away as I pulled away from her. I grabbed the phone  that she had dropped earlier.

Layla's Pov

When I looked into his eyes I could tell that he was trying to hold in his wolf because his eyes kept flicking from that of his green forest eyes to that of his wolf's  gold flanked ones. This made me so scared of what might happen next.

Would he command me to let him mark me?

The thought made me terrified and I'm sure he noticed my fear because he let go of me and took the phone and left the room, but before he could leave I fell to my knees I was already in tears.

"Pppplease alpha please dont take mmmy phone please." I said these words well choking on tears and hiccups.

Xavier Pov
When she fell to her knees and began to beg me to not take the phone my heart broke I wanted to just hold my little mate to my chest and cradle her.
But I had to be strong I ignored her cries and turned to face her. She was still on her knees, trembling and little  cries broke the  silence of the room. She looked so broken, so scared,  so alone.

"You are not talk to anyone, and I mean anyone without my permission or there will  be consequences. You will not look at another male, or he shall be punished for it. You are mine and only mine. I know you are my mate but don't expect me to love you or even acknowledged your presence. I will show you no mercy if you break any rules. You an unwanted mate but you  are my unwanted mate. You will tell no one  about us being mates." With those words I turned and left her room. While I was closing  her bedroom door I could hear her cries, I held her phone in my hand. I was furious at the situation, I was furious at myself.

Layla's Pov

He left me in my room, still on my knees and now I had cried so much I could hardly breath. I held my hands over my mouth to quite down my cries.

Suddenly I felt small arms wrap around my arms and then a feminine voice came.
" stop crying now, come let's go to bed." I turned and I seen it was the servant girl from  earlier Accalia.

Accalia Pov

I was laying in bed when I heard the alpha yelling. He sounded  like he was close to my room, but the only other person that had a room downstairs was Layla. Then it hit me it was Layla he was shouting at .
I rushed over to Layla's room as I approached I seen Xavier going upstairs he must have heard me come because he turned  back and seen me but then he turned  and walked away I thought  I'd be in trouble.
I ran into Layla's room and seen her on her knees crying I held her shaking  form against me.

"Stop crying now, come let's go to bed."

She just nodded her head. She lay in bed explaining what had happened soon in a trembling voice and soon cried herself to sleep.
Xavier  was a harsh ruler I felt sorry for her.

Layla's Pov

I told Accalia everything except for the part about us being mates and then I fell asleep finally still crying though, I was to hurt to stop myself.
