Layla's POV

Everyone was here except for Luka and Nate.

"daddy Nate and Luka?," i asked him but he knew what i was asking

He told me Luka was in his office, so i took Xavier's hand and led him to the office to which he just followed without arguments.

Luka and Layla's reunion

Luka -i heard a knock on the door but that's not what made me stand up from my chair and for my hands to shake so bad, it was that knock. The knock i had formed with Layla when she was a little girl, our secret knock that no one knew.
The door slowly opened and my little princess came into view.

She looked at me and smiled that sweet innocent smile of hers...
Layla - "I'm home uncle Luka, i missed you. I'm sorry i left. I....," before i could finish i was pulled into his arms i heard a sniffle but i wasn't crying that's when i realised it was coming from uncle Luka.

"p... P... Please don't cry, i don't like it when you upset please I'd rather have you scold me then cry."

Luka - i laughed at this silly girls worry.
"I'm not crying out of sorrow my little Layla, I'm crying out of joy because my little one is back and i can't help but be happy," she just giggled and said "oh", "hahaha stupid girl," i gave her forehead a little tap to which she giggled. I couldn't help it when more tears formed and fell down my cheeks because after so long my office was filled with her giggles and her silly words that i couldn't help but laugh to as well. The alpha behind her, the one that took her was looking at her as she giggled, but it wasn't that look he gave her the day he took her away no this look was showed his admiration and love for her. I knew it Layla could make anyone love her.

Layla must have seen me looking at Xavier because she came and stood beside me and whispered in my ear well still giggling.
"his my mate can you believe it, cause i can't trust me i tried pinching myself to see if i was asleep but all i got was a hand of bruises."

Xavier POV

"first of all princess you do know that werewolves have super hearing right so even though you whispered it to him i heard ever word you said, i am your mate and this isn't a dream. Second, how the hell do you go and bruise yourself," i said the last part as i grabbed her hand to see the damage that she caused and was i pissed she wasn't kidding she did bruise her hand really bad.

" Layla!!!!, how the hell did you pinch yourself so many times damn you are a problem i swear, "when I was scolding her i heard Luka laughing.
So i lifted my head to look at him as if questioning him.

Luka -" ohhhh no no don't mind me its just that its so good to see all of this it makes me so happy to know that my Layla is been well taken care of, thank you alpha Xavier."

Xavier POV

I smiled back at him and looked up at Layla who had a sulky face on.

"whats with the face treasure?"
Layla - "you always always shouting at me, b... but its my body and i get to do with it as i please." she crossed her arms over her chest with a pout on her very pink kissable lips.

Focus Xavier don't get distracted....

I started scolding myself in my brain damn it was so easy to get distracted around her.....

" well it is my concern because now you are mine and i am yours so i get to shout at you for hurting your body if i see fit." she didn't answer me at first and pulled her tongue at me but then a smiled formed on her face....

Ohhhh boy what did she just think of and please she better stop biting that bottom lip of hers🙏

Layla-" s... Soooo i get to shout at you to, "and there it is.
I looked at her and just rolled my eyes at her but i had a smile on.
Then Layla realised that she still hadn't seen Nate.

Layla POV

" ammmm uncle Luka where is Nate i haven't seen him. "

Uncle Luka smiled at me.....

Luka-" you tell me, i still don't know where you two would disappear to till today and that's exactly where he has gone," i smiled and kissed him on the cheek. I was about to run out but i remembered Xavier, i asked him if he could stay with Luka while i went to get Nate. He didn't look to happy about it but let me go either way....

Xavier POV

When i heard what Luka told my Layla about her disappearing with another male wolf it got to me and i was fuming.

I was furious but not at Layla or even Nate but rather at myself, i was angry for everything i did to Layla and for every time i hurt her mentally and physically. Now i was afraid i could loose her and it was all my fault. What if she loves him and she feels she's forced to be with me, what if he loves her and always has. Maybe he could care for her way better then i have or then i could, she would be better off with him.

If you love her, you will let her go. You know she's better off without you. All she does around you is fear or cry but with him he could make her smile and show her the love she deserves.

My thoughts were going wild.......
