Mathew held me gently and pulled me towards him. "Mathew what are you doing????" I asked suspiciously. "Nothing." he replied with a smile. I heard footsteps behond us and reconized them as Jack's. Mathew leaned in closer. I felt Jack stopping. I realized that Mathew was going to kiss me. I closed my eyes and then I felt Mathew's lips on mine. I relaxed against him. I heard Jack give a little gasp followed by a sob. Then he turned and ran away. All too soon, Mathew pulled apart and looked at me lovingly. I looked up at him happily. Then Mathew spoke "That was amazing." he said looking surprised. I blushed and looked away. "Ruby theres something I have to ask you." Mathew said seriously. I looked up at him questioningly. "What do you want to ask" I siad. "Ruby will you be my girlfriend. I heard Jack give a small cry. I hadn't realised that Jack was behind us. "Mathew I........."
