They stay like that for while, no more words needing to be exchanged. They know that as long as they have eachother, everything will be okay.

Eventually Hoseok leaves to run some tests, and offers to drop Jungkook home on his way.
With Jin and Namjoon both napping Jimin is left to his own devices.
He hasn't talked to Yoongi yet since he came around, so has yet to see the changes the rabies wrought upon him.
Although he hardly knows what he would say to Yoongi when they've barely known each other for a week now.
Still, it's been a while since anybody checked on him so Jimin decides to take him a snack and some water.
He knocks quietly before stepping inside.
Despite knowing what to expect the rounded black ears sitting atop Yoongi's head still shock him.
He also takes note of the change to Yoongi's scent. Whereas before it was a nice mix of petrichor and peppermint, now there was a dark undertone to it. Rich like... dark chocolate, Jimin realises. Somehow Yoongi smells even nicer now.
"Hey Jimin, how are you feeling?" Yoongi says weakly.
"I'm alright although I think I should be the one asking you that Hyung." Jimin walks over and sets the glass of water down on Yoongi's bedside table.
"Uh I thought you might be hungry, but I didn't know what snacks you like, so I hope apple slices are okay..." Jimin holds out the plate like a peace offering.
Yoongi smiles a little and takes the plate from his hands. "Apple slices are fine thank you."
Jimin stands awkwardly, not sure whether to stay or go. Yoongi nods to the chair beside his bed, indicating Jimin to sit down.
"So... how are you feeling now? What's it like being a hybrid?"
Yoongi sighs. "I'm fine... I think? ...I don't know, this is just a lot, you know? Everything feels so overwhelming..."
"Overwhelming?" Jimin tilts his head, his brow furrowing slightly. Of course changing species would be a lot to take in, but Jimin wonders how changed he must feel now. "In what way? I've obviously never been human so I don't know how different it is."
Yoongi almost seems to pout slightly as he thinks of what to say. "Well first of all, having a tail is really weird. Most of the time I don't notice it but sometimes it's all I can think about. And I have to be careful how I lie on it." He frowns slightly, then mutters. "Learnt that the hard way."
Jimin chuckles quietly. "I know it's strange now, but having a tail is really cool! Maybe you'll come to like it. Just make sure it never gets shut in a door. Nobody every forgets that experience." Jimin winces slightly and holds his tail gently as he remembers when it happened to him.
"Okay, be careful around doors." Yoongi nods.
"Anything else? You said everything before so it's not just you're tail right?"
Yoongi hums. "It's not just the tail but my senses... Everything seems so loud now, it's like I can't get any peace. The clock outside my door has been driving me crazy."
"I could take the batteries out if you want? Until you're more adapted to the noise." Jimin suggests.
"That would be great, thanks Jimin." Yoongi smiles again.
"Also, I always knew hybrids could smell people's scents but I didn't think they'd be this strong? As a human people just smelt like soap, or sweat, but like this people smell like food and flowers? I have no idea how that makes sense."
"Oh, that's to do with pheromones. Humans don't smell them but hybrids do." Jimin supplies
"Pheromones?" Yoongi says, sounding unconvinced.
"Yeah, they're an instinctual thing among animals, meant to help with finding a compatible mate, or as a warning to stay away. When you're more used to scents you'll be able to pick up little changes in them, like when someone is sick, or really emotional."
"Okay, maybe the pheromone thing does make sense after all."
Jimin giggles. "I can't imagine how weird this is for you."
Grimacing, Yoongi says "You don't wanna know."
"Also Hyung, the strongest thing in here is your scent, and mine because I'm here at the moment, although I can smell the others faintly from when they were in here earlier. You might want to prepare yourself before you leave your room because their scents will be stronger out there." Jimin raises an eyebrow at him.
Yoongi groans. "Thanks for the warning."
Jimin chuckles. "You're welcome."
Yoongi tilts his head curiously. "What do I smell like? I can't differentiate between the different scents yet."
"You smell like the earth after the first rain in a while, and soft hints of peppermint. Also dark chocolate, which is new. Most hybrids learn to mostly tune out their own scent when their young, you become so used to it you don't really notice it anymore. But since you're new I think you'll be able to smell your own scent just as well as any other."
Yoongi's brown creases as he seems to be concentrating. "I think maybe I can smell that."
"Wait..." Yoongi snaps his attention back to Jimin. "I don't smell like coffee?"
Jimin shakes his head confusedly. "No."
"Huh, I would have thought so with how much I drink." Yoongi seems dumbfounded by the revelation.
Jimin laughs. "That's not the way scents work Hyung."
Eying Jimin curiously, Yoongi says. "So Jimin-ah what do you smell like?"
Jimin smirks mischievously and shakes his head. "Nope, that's too easy. What do you think I smell like?"
"Yah, Jimin!" Yoongi complains.
Jimin just smiles and leans back in the chair. "Let me know when you figure it out. And don't try to come closer 'cause that's cheating."
Yoongi narrows his eyes at him before closing them so he can focus. "You smell like.... citrus... freshly baked bread... and apples?" Yoongi says slowly.
Jimin smiles. "Well one of those was right, but you just listed 3 different people. Also how did you know you weren't just smelling the apples I cut for you?"
Yoongi frowns. "It's... different, I don't know how to explain it." Yoongi purses his lips and lies back on his bed.
"Getting one right is still really great though! I smell like apples by the way. I was surprised you pia led up on that." Jimin grins.
Yoongi's ears perk up. "Apples." He says thoughtfully as he tries to pick out the scents intermingled with it.
Jimin hums. "How did you know to pick 3 things though?" He asks curiously.
"Jin told me once that hybrids always have 3 components to their scents, whereas humans normally have 2." He replies matter-of-factly.
"Ah I see. Oh wait! I need to wake up Namjoon and Jin hyung, I forgot." Jimin springs up from the chair.
"Let them sleep." Yoongi grumbles.
"No, I said I would." Jimin says, biting his lip thoughtfully.
"Okay, if you have to."
Jimin rolls his eyes. "It's not like I'm going out anywhere."
As he leaves Yoongi calls. "What about vanilla?"
Jimin chuckles, that's Jungkook's scent.
"Keep guessing Hyung."
