Jungkook grimaces. "Eww revision. Are you sure you can't stay another five minutes?"
Jimin chuckles and shoots back with "Are you sure you don't want me to earn more money so I can buy you food and banana milk?"
Jungkook groans. "Fine, fine. Let's both get back to work."

"Hey Joon" Yoongi says as he walks into Namjoon's office.
The doctor insisted on Yoongi having weekly checkups, despite him feeling absolutely fine now. He could understand his friend's concern though, afterall it's not everyday that someone changes species...
Namjoon smiles. "Hi Hyung, how are you feeling today?"
"I'm good. I took the bus today for the first time in months."
He'd felt anxious the whole ride, but Yoongi had to try and get used to mingled scents, and the constant assault of sounds at some point. It had been bareable, so he'd class today as a success.
"Really? That's great! How did it make you feel?"
Yoongi purses his lips. "Well... not good, but it wasn't overwhelming. All the sounds and smells gave me a dull headache. But at least I don't have to be chaperoned everywhere now."
Namjoon nods, and clasps Yoongi's shoulder. "This is good progress Hyung. It might be frustrating still, but you're over the worst of it, and soon enough you'll be fine with all of these things."
"Yeah, I know. Thanks for taking care of me Joon." A small smile plays about Yoongi's lips.
"Of course Hyung." Namjoon's dimples make an appearance as he smiles, before turning to his computer. "Well, your blood test from last week was good, everything checks out still. And you haven't been feeling anything new or weird?"
Yoongi shakes his head in answer.
"Okay, great." Namjoon does a few other tests, such as take his blood pressure, and test his reactions to stimuli. Pleased with the way Yoongi's ears twitch when he plays sounds from speakers on different sides of the room Namjoon concludes his assessment.
Yoongi plays with his tail idly. Familiar with these visits now, he asks "So we're done for today right?"
Namjoon sighs. "Actually there was one more thing I wanted to talk to you about. But I don't think you're going to like it."
Furrowing his brow slightly, Yoongi says "What is it?"
The way Namjoon pauses tells him just how uncomfortable the topic will be.
"We need to talk about heats."
Yoongi's hands freeze where they had been fiddling with his tail. His mouth suddenly feels very dry as he panics.
"Am I going into heat? I feel fine! Joon I can't-"
"No, don't worry!" Namjoon sighs. "You're not going into heat right now, all you're hormones are stable."
Relief courses through him as Yoongi sinks back into his seat. It hadn't quite hit him before just how much he doesn't want to go through heat...
"Then why do we need to talk about it?" Yoongi asks much more calmly.
Namjoon eyes Yoongi thoughtfully for a second before he starts. "Yoongi Hyung, you've been a hybrid now for a couple of months. Yes, you're hormones are completely stable but you're still a mature hybrid." Namjoon tilts his head.
"What do you know about a hybrids first heat?"
Yoongi blinks. It takes a moment for him to gather his thoughts, remembering what he learned in school and from Jin Hyung.
"Well I think normally people have them around 15 or 16? Jin Hyung was 17... And they're really bad right? I mean heats are bad in general but the first one is really difficult. More so than the rest."
Namjoon nods. "Hybrids have their first heat once puberty finishes. It doesn't have to be immediately after, for some people it's a years after, and of course some people hit puberty later than others, but generally that means anyone over the age of 15 or 16 is in the danger zone so to speak."
Yoongi chews on his bottom lip as he listens to Namjoon. His chest feels heavy. Heat wasn't something he'd ever really thought about despite being a hybrid now, especially not for himself
"Whereas with other heats, where a hybrid would experience pre-heat beforehand, first heats come on pretty suddenly, and once it really gets going it hits like a Trainwreck."
Yoongi grimaces remembering how bad it had been for Jin, how he'd tried to give him a piggyback home so he could be safe and comfortable.
"Sometimes being around other hybrids in heat or pre-heat can trigger the first heat due to pheromones. Especially if they're a late bloomer."
"Joon that all makes sense, but I'm a bit confused about how it relates to me."
Namjoon nods a little embarrassed, understanding his confusion. "Sorry, I was about to get to the point. Yoongi Hyung, you're a mature hybrid, well past puberty. Given you're unique circumstances there's a tiny chance you might not even go through heat at all, however I think that's pretty unlikely. You should read up on heats, and mentally prepare yourself. Who knows, you could have years before it happens, or merely weeks or days, but I'm certain it will happen, and I want you to be ready when it does."
Yoongi's ears flatten against his head as he tries to process Namjoon's words. He nods almost absentmindedly. Really he should have seen this coming, but there'd been a certain amount of denial to the idea.
He suddenly perks up and says "What about supressants? Can't I just take them?"
Namjoon shakes his head sadly. "No, you can't take them before the first heat because that can really mess things up long term. Even afterwards I won't recommend supressants unless you experience really severe heats. They can have serious side affects Hyung."
Yoongi sighs. "Shit... I understand."
"If you have questions about anything I'm happy to help, and I'm sure Jin will be too." Namjoon pauses. "You might want to ask Jimin about his heats."
Yoongi chokes. His eyes widen slightly as he coughs out. "What? Why should I?"
"Because you live together. I don't know how he manages his heats, but if he does go into heat or pre-heat, that could trigger yours, and that could get messy... It might be a little embarassing but it's better that you guys have this conversation before anything happens."
What Namjoon is saying makes sense. Yoongi remembers how Jin had begged him for relief that first time, when he'd been so delirious and high on the pain. If that happened to Yoongi around Jimin, when Jimin was in heat too, no doubt they'd seek comfort in each other... The sudden image of him grinding against Jimin's thigh has Yoongi shaking his head, trying to clear his thoughts. Jimin was his friend for fuck's sake...
"You're right, I'll talk to him!" Yoongi squeaks.
Namjoon eyes him curiously. "Good. Okay. Also this might not really be my place to say, but it'll be a lot easier to get through the heat with someone helping you. Otherwise you might want to uhh invest in some good sex toys. It's up to you but give it some thought."
At this point in the conversation Yoongi is far past being embarrassed. So rather that choke up again, he raises an eyebrow and says tiredly, "Okay so research heats, talk to Jimin about heats, and shop for sex toys... Lemme tell you Namjoon this was not how I expected my day to go."
