"When Allah tests you, it is never to destroy you. When He removes something in your possession, it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift!"

                         Chapter 15

Alhaji Nura Tagwai, a 50year old Bahaushe(a hausa man) from Katsina and a successful businessman. He was that generous and understanding person that doesn't give up and is willing to go great lengths to please and help people. He got married to Fatima, a daughter to Eng. Zayyad Waziri. They loved each other so much and God had blessed them with three healthy children; Jameela, their first daughter, Arhmad being the only male child and Fareedarh, the last but not the least. They were all brought up with good morals and Alhamdulillah, they've all grown to be responsible kids. Alhaji Nura loved his family dearly.

When Arhmad successfully completed his studies in the states and was back to his homeland, he started running some of his father's business. It was a while later that Alhaji Nura realized his son had no suitor and was of an age to marriage.

Alhaji Nura went to his confidant and his best friend, Alh.Ahmed. He complained to him about the matter. Later on, Alh.Ahmed suggested his daughter, Afreen, and Alh.Nura was beyond excited. He knew Afreen, he knew where she came from. She was a good and responsible girl who was religiously committed.

He was over the moon when the two both accepted. But Destiny had it's way of planning things out. Alh.Nura was amazed by Afreen's actions, he never knew she was capable of what she did, though he still thinks she had a reason for all she did.

It's been more than three months since 'the happening', and Arhmad still hasn't spoken of settling down. All Alh.Nura craves for is to see his son grow into a man. Allah has blessed him with wealth and health, peace and a good relationship with others, Alhamdulillah. He wasn't getting any younger. You plan and Allah plans, And He is the best of planners. Anything could happen at anytime.

"My son, we have an important issue to discuss"
Abba said after calling Arhmad to his living room.

Arhmad nodded "Ohkay Abba"

"It's about you..."Abba started while Arhmad's heart gave a little bang "It's high time you get settled, don't you think?"

Arhmad couldn't utter a word. He stared blankly at the Iranian carpet that adorned Abba's living room.

"I know alot has happened but you gat to let go. She's out there living happily with her husband, and you..." He looked directly into his sons eyes "...you're still here. You have to move on cause you can't keep living like this. You've lost focus Arhmad."

"I'm sorry Abba"  He apologized.

"You don't need to apologize and you certainly don't have to be sorry. You just have to get back on track"

He looked up to be met with his father's doe- like eyes. "Ohkay"

"That's good. So do you have a girl in mind?" Abba questioned.

Arhmad shook his head "No Abba"

There was a long silence before Abba sighed deeply "Even among your cousins?"

"No" was Arhmad's simple answer.

"What about Bilqees? I noticed you're close to her"

When Arhmad didn't say a word. Abba proceeded "Can you marry her?"
